I learned about putty erasers in an art class. At first, I resisted buying another art supply. I am so glad I changed my mind. This eraser lifts graphite pencil marks without tearing the paper. I can use it to lighten the marks or completely lift them off. So handy when I lay down a sketch before water coloring. I can roll this eraser over the sketch and lighten the marks just enough so that I can still use them as a guide but they do not interfere with the painting.

The Winsor & Newton Kneadable Putty Eraser is a great addition to your art supplies. The eraser lifts pencil lines without rubbing. All it takes is a light dabbing to lighten the marks. This is super handy when you wish to watercolour over your pencil drawing. Lifting out the pencil marks is helpful so outlines don't show through your paint. I love this product. It's soft and pliable and perfect for your art studio.

Eraser is just a regular small one that u can get some for at the store for a couple dollars

Works as needed. I use this kneaded putty rubber to remove pencil sketches after I use a fine liner on watercolor paper. It removes the pencil lines very well and am happy with the performance of this item. There is no residue after pencil lines have been erased and the rubber is easily kneaded for continued use. I recommend this item.
