Holiday & many nights of sleep SAVED!
Soooo glad that I've found these that eventually I bought another one! As somebody who is a very light sleeper, I can tell you they 100 % worth it. We took them for holidays and also when visited my parents who have big windows and leave at the 10th floor apartment, facing the sun all day - these blinds helped to sleep both me, my wife and two little kids! Last year before we bought them, it was a completely different story - waking up at 5'ish AM under June's bright skies! PROS & TO NOTE: - Solid quality. The material is black, very sturdy, well made and looks good too in my opinion. - Very sticky! Strong suction cups. In fact so strong that they remain on the glass if you pull not carefully and then you need to put them back. Better carefully take them off initially to avoid the hassle. - Blackout? Please note that it depends a lot on how carefully you will install it. The setup allows you some flexibility and ways to play around, stretching the material and installing suction cups as close as you can to windows edges. It physically can not create a full blackout as some light gets in via edges (not the material). But trust me - it gets very dark and makes a big difference! Highly recommend and hope it helps you sleep better as it did for us! Cheers!

Brilliant black out - easy to fit
Excellent, does exactly what it says. Very easy to fix to window, and blocks all the light out. I have left mine attached to the window during the day too and it’s so good I need to put the light on in our babies bedroom, even with strong sunlight outside. Highly recommend

Decent and versatile blackout blind you can take with you
Bought to help our child sleep in their bedroom when the sun is coming up early. It has moons and stars which our child has liked the look of, although would've preferred something a bit more colourful on the child-facing side. It's worked fairly well - it's a good alternative to a permanent blackout blind for the kids and it is fairly versatile in terms of fitting different-sized windows. It has velcro so you can fold it up to help you fit it to the window and it is easy to put up and take down. The fit is never quite perfect, but there are plenty of suction cups to get it good enough. One criticism is that it does tend to lose suction on a few cups fairly regularly, but it is minor. It does a decent job of blocking out the light and it was cheaper than buying a full blackout blind, with the added versatility of taking it on holiday, etc. I'd recommend it.

Great blackout!
Another great product from TT. This size fits the window perfectly but it is a nuisance to get on but once on, completely black out room! Easy to wrap up and stow away too.

Still going strong after 6 years, an absolute sleep essential!
I’ve been using the Tommee Tippee Sleeptight Portable Blackout Blind for over six years now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best parenting purchases I’ve ever made. From baby naps to toddler bedtimes, this blind has been a total game-changer. It’s incredibly easy to put up and take down, thanks to the strong suction cups and adjustable sizing. We’ve used it on everything from hotel windows to grandparents’ spare rooms, and it’s never let us down. It folds up compactly into its travel bag, making it perfect for holidays or just moving from room to room. The blackout effect is excellent, no more 5 a.m. wakeups in summer! It’s durable too; after six years of regular use, ours is still going strong with only minor signs of wear. If you’re a parent looking to protect your child’s sleep (and your own sanity), this is a must-have. I recommend it to every new parent I know.

Good Quality, But Expect Light Seepage & Heat Build-up
I bought this blind for daytime shift-work sleep. Previously, I used a sleep mask. It sometimes slid off mid-sleep and the sudden rush of light flooding my retinas destroyed any hope of deep, restful sleep. ✅ The Pros • 💎 Premium materials: High-quality fabric blocks sun effectively. • 💰 Excellent value: Way cheaper than £200 custom blinds. • Adjustable design: Built-in Velcro gathers excess fabric, allowing suction cups to be attached as close as possible to the window edges. • Easy application: Sticks up and removes in seconds. • Quick packing: Folds effortlessly into the travel bag. ❌ The Cons • 🌅 Perimeter seepage: Minor light bleeds around edges. •🌡️ Room heating: Traps heat significantly on sunny days. • Suction cup failure: Cups fall if glass is dirty. • Temporary use only: Cannot stay up permanently. Performance Details This blind did not perfectly meet my needs. The window I am using it on has a higher middle pane. The blind cannot press flush against the glass at the upper margins. Daylight leaks straight through the top gaps. Multi-pane windows will not get optimal coverage. Light also seeps slightly around the other edges. No adjustment completely blocks this perimeter light. In my experience, standard blackout curtains leak much more light and custom-fitted blinds leak slightly less than this. I chose not to return this blind for a solution that would better suit the designs of my window. Faffing with velcro and multiple blinds sounded exhausting. 🧬 The Science of Sleep Achieving a deep, restful sleep relies heavily on managing photic stimulation [WebMD]. When daylight hits your retinas, it triggers daytime brain signals that immediately halt the production of melatonin, the vital hormone responsible for sleep. For shift workers, creating an artificial night is crucial to realign a disrupted circadian rhythm [NIH]. While this blind successfully blocks out those wakefulness-inducing photons to promote rest, it heavily disrupts another critical biological trigger: temperature regulation [NIH]. Our core body temperature must drop to achieve deep sleep, but this thick material acts as a thermal trap that retains heat causing it to build up in the room. Consequently, while this blind solves the light problem, it creates a warm environment that is actively counterproductive to high-quality sleep. 🚨 CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING FOR PARENTS • Overheating & SIDS risk: If you are buying this travel blind for an infant or a child under 18 months, please use extreme caution. Overheating is a major, proven environmental risk factor for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). • Daytime use hazard: The risks of heat build-up are most significant when this blind is used during the day, as intense midday sunlight hitting the fabric quickly pushes room temperatures past safe limits. Always use a room thermometer to ensure the space stays between the recommended 16–20°C. 💡 Performance Tips 🌡️ Monitor room temperature: I first used this in May in Scotland. Even in mild outdoor temperatures, it significantly heats up the room on sunny days. Diligently monitoring your indoor room temperature is essential. ❄️ Consider smart cooling devices: You will definitely need cooling equipment to counter this thermal trap. I highly recommend considering smart fans or automated cooling units that trigger automatically if the room temperature gets too high during your sleep. • 🧽 Clean glass regularly: Wipe windows before sticking cups. • 🔄 Take down daily: Prevent glass heat buildup. Verdict Overall, this product is well-designed. It offers great value for money. Expect minor light leakage around the edges, It easily outperforms standard blackout curtains. However there are some practical issues and safety risks that have to be managed.

Excellent
This portable blackout blind is very, very good! It blocks out light extremely well, making it perfect for travel, naps, or bright rooms. The material is thick and high-quality, and it sticks securely to the window without slipping. It’s lightweight, easy to pack, and quick to set up, which makes it super convenient for parents or frequent travelers. Overall, an excellent product that truly delivers on its promise of darkness anywhere!

Works Great But Does Have A Design Flaw
Having used this for months now it's worked great at keeping baby's room dark. Easy to put up and take down each day. There is one big design flaw though, the back/ window facing side is black! On a southerly facing window it gets very warm, even in winter, and radiates that into the room heating it up. This could be easily fixed by having a white/silvery material on the rear to reflect the light back, rather than absorb it.

Love it! It holds very well on the window and it really makes the room alot darker. I still have some curtains over it to make it as dark as possible.

Blacked Out Window
Works amazingly! Lots of people saying doesn't stick to their window falls off after a night or 2 days, but I cleaned my windows and used a water spray bottle and wet the suction cups, had been up for 2 weeks and not haven fallen down yet. Great for toddler who was waking up too early

Ottimi oscuranti
Ottimi oscuranti, in foto si vede come schermano i raggi solari di una portafinestra senza tapparella alle ore 14 di una giornata di sole. NB: le ventose attaccano bene sui vetri, NON su serramenti in legno.

Great
I love it. It’s not smelly like others and great for big windows. Sun doesn’t come trough it, and it doesn’t fall from the window
