Momokuri - For the longest time, Yuki Kurihara has been obsessed with Shinya Momotsuki (aka Momo), and her crush is a little more extreme than writing his name surrounded with dozens of hearts in her binder. In fact, Kurihara does things outside the realm of a typical high school girl... like secretly following him, taking pictures of everything he does, and collecting anything he happens to discard and drop. The funny thing? Despite being considered rather cute by most girls, Momo is relatively inexperienced with the opposite sex, explaining why he misses the warning signs of her fixation. However, now that he and Kurihara are going out, is it possible that a little obsession might not be such a bad thing? Love can be strange, and it's about to get even stranger! Momokuri contains episodes 1-13. Number of discs: 3 Run Time: 325 minutes Review: Love story, with some quite strange characters - This Romcom offers nothing new under the sun, but it is pleasantly different. Throughout the series there is a uniform monotony (from a shounen perspective); There is no significant development until the end and the characters are consistently lame. In short: pure boredom. But you can also say (from a shoujo perspective): The series focuses on the emotional world of the protagonists, lovingly traces the new experiences of the two lovebirds and has an enchanting innocence. Review: Kawai Stalker Girlfriend - This show is.... really cute. It starts off with this girl who develops a stalker attitude over this guy she likes. One day she finally confessed her feelings and he accepted them with the fact he never had a girlfriend before, but she also continues to have her stalker habbit. So it makes for some funny situations through the show between the two. It's all followed by a cute kiddie-like soundtrack that makes it all the more cutesy. I mean just look at the opening, it's adorable. A fair bit of warning though. First of all this ONLY has Japanese Dubbed English Subbed, which could be the reason why no one reviewed it yet. Second warning is that it says 26 episodes right? Well each episode is only HALF of a regular episode. So in reality it's only 13 full episodes, as you can see in the menu were it has 2 episodes combined to make it into one episode.

Cute, relatively harmless
It's a cute romance show with a relatively small animation budget. Usually most romance shows ratchet the drama way up, but this show keeps things fairly calm.

Durable beats flashy.
This is very, very underplayed as a segment of somewhat maladjusted Japanese life. A second year high school girl sees this first year high school boy, and in spite of the fact he is short, has trouble with standard high school subjects, and is totally clueless about the female gender, she decides to confess that she likes him-- and in Japanese culture, that is a very, very big deal. She knows he is going to turn her down, and she is prepared for anything except his calm acceptance of the relationship. Two clueless kids in a school full of kids who range from more than just clueless to halfway understanding what is going on, trying to figure out their place in the world, and hanging on for dear life every time they make an error. No sex, no violence, and about the most confusing is the use of "pervert" as both something bad and something desired at the same time, with friends who like them and help them with the buffer, including one friend who would gladly take the girlfriend spot as soon as it is available-- but who actually helps them stay together because she is honest with herself and with understanding them. As more "real" and less fantasy, this is a good, high school learning to be an adult, even if the embarrassment kills you, and just not giving up. Anime is a luxury item, and while by American standards it is overpriced, it comes closer to being worth it than 99% of the rest. I'll give it a five out of five for just being a great story without all the (deleted) poured on top of most high school romance stories.

It's also a very clean sort of anime if that better suits your taste
Decent anime, nothing really special about it. It's also a very clean sort of anime if that better suits your taste. Still adorable and it wastes no time diving into the main characters relationship.
