Inside Left Door Handle Repair Kit Replacement for Mercedes W204 C250 C300

If you are planning to replace this handle on a Mercedes, GOOD LUCK. Part fit perfectly and the screws were used but this took us over 3 hours. I recommend watching YouTube videos on installation because it was very difficult getting to the door handle. A $15 part and a few hours of work was better than Mercedes quote of $1600. Be careful with the plastic pin that comes with this, there’s only one so don’t lose it.

This is a perfect OEM replacement. First picture shows the OEM part that you have to remove. It is a pain the a$$, but once removed the replacement part fits perfectly. Some people say it doesn't fit flush? Mine did, no issue. Looks like the original . Be prepared for a couple of hours of work. Took me approximately 3 hours for the whole thing, but it was better than the alternative which was paying the dealer almost 3 thousand!! They replace the whole door jam interior. The part alone was 1800 without tax and then 800 without tax for installation. Good luck!!!

Installations awful but the handle itself feels good and matches the OE

Perfect fit and finish. My only reason to drop one star is that the screws are just a tiny bit too long. One almost pierced through a visible part of the door jamb - but it's not really visible when sitting in the car The end result looks great in the vehicle! The hinge pin was easy to install and I appreciated the little wedge to proved additional stability in the final assembly.

Dealership wants to charge like $1000 to replace the entire door assembly (because they use cheap plastic that breaks?). It’s a pain to cut all the plastic rivets, but well worth the savings. Take your time and do it carefully, and it’s a great replacement. Hardest part was getting the original pin out. Oh, and had to use the original pin with the new handle, could not get the new pin to work - so be careful removing the pin. Watch the video a few times first before attempting. The replacement screws work perfectly to re-seal the assembly.

Fits fine. It was quite a task to get it installed but still a lot more cost effective than paying to have it done. Luckily I have a very handy husband.

My mechanic was concerned with one of the parts durability. It was installed and working just as expected. It's nice to be able to get out if my car again without putting the window down.

Just bought this because Mercedes said change the whole door panel for $1500 even though only the handle broke. I've yet to install it in the car but upon opening the package yesterday, the handle was scratched. Sad. Edit: I did install it because I don't have time to return and buy a new one. The screws were short, missing 2. Also some screws were not long enough in certain spots and others were too long (almost started indenting the nice finish on the inside edge of the door, had to leave it a little loose so it wouldn't punch through). Aside from that, the handle doesn't stick out and is the same color. it does feel a little flimsy and not as solid as the OEM, but you get what you pay for,

Could not install as it did not fit. Returned to Amazon.
