I love this stuff. Works great on compromised skin barrier and for popped zits. Makes them heal faster and smooths flaking skin. Doesn’t break me out. Good for anywhere moisture is needed.

This cream works well to help post blemishes skin heal and recover. Moisturizing and non-greasy.

The first time I bought this product was in 2022, so this is after 2 years of use! If you are someone like me who tends to pick and scratch at their blemishes a lot, then this product is a great step to add to your skincare routine post-pimple pop. It definitely sped up my healing time to 3-4 days as opposed to my normal 5-7. Other things to note: - It DOES NOT target hyperpigmentation and dark marks (it doesn't promote that it does, but some previous reviews have noted they used it for that). - It DOES target inflammation and redness that comes with irritation after a pimple pops. - You do not need a lot of product. A thin, pea-sized amount over the blemish works. - CONSISTENT USE, like with most skincare products, will yield you the best results. - I found to help prevent hyperpigmentation, using this product under sunscreen is best. All in all, I love this product and will continue to use it! I just wish they had a bigger size!

i have hormonal acne. it’s such a pain. im 21 and it hasn’t stopped one bit since it toned down when i was maybe 16! im on prescriptions now and i can feel them starting to work but my newest priority is getting my zits down as soon as possible. patches are great—i put one on a whitehead (hard or soft), take it off and the cap with it, then put on one more patch to shield the open zit from the air for a few hours. any more and my stupid sensitive skin will break out from being covered for so long. which means if the zit isn’t done, it’ll just whitehead all over again! i used this stuff last night on a particularly nasty one on my chin. it’s been a week and it hasn’t stopped whiteheading. after taking off my patch i put this stuff on and left it overnight… NO LEAKING! if anything, it SHRANK! after one use! this stuff is awesome and absolutely worth the price. feels a little greasy after putting it on but it dries up in a few minutes or so.

I have a pretty involved skincare routine that includes double cleansing, toning, exfoliator, serums, retinol, moisturizer, mask/SPF. I hoped this would work as a spot treatment to prevent my retinol-purge-zits from staying red and becoming scars. The instructions say to rub in a rice grain sized amount over the spot after cleansing/toning/exfoliating and before serums/etc. However, it is so thick and pasty that even the tiny amount suggested smears around leaving a white cast and doesn’t seem to absorb at all. I was hesitant to leave a review for this before actually seeing whether it would prevent a spot from becoming a scar. Thing is, I don’t know if I’ll actually get the chance to see that happen if it’s just going to sit on top of my skin and get rubbed away by the products that come afterward. All that said, I do like their other products, and this contains great ingredients that theoretically *should* do what the company claims. Unless they come out with a more efficiently textured version of this, I just have to figure out how to use it in my routine in a way that won’t waste product or inhibit potential benefits. The only way I can think of doing this is to wipe all other products from my PM routine off each spot I want to treat using a toner-covered Q-tip, tapping a little white blob of this on each, and leaving it as-is overnight. That’s a huge departure from the instructions and seems like a pretty tedious measure to take to use this, but it’s worth a shot. For now, it really just feels like rubbing a pasty sunscreen around on my face right before using serums & moisturizer. Clearly that is not ideal for those with a multi-step skincare routine, but hopefully I can get it to work a different way. I will update this review if so.

Been using this for over a year now. I apply it a few times a week at night before moisturizing. Lasts quite a while and a little goes a long way! Blends easily on the skin as well.

I absolutely love this product! I had no idea something like this existed when I came across it on Amazon. Now I know I can't live without it. I'm a 45 year old woman who had beautiful skin until diagnosed w ADD in adulthood and now struggles with regular flare ups that are a side effect of the medication I take and I can't avoid them bc the meds are so effective so I must deal. Then there's hormones. On top of that, I have OCD and I can't seem to keep my hands off of my face. Add to it stress and anxiety and you've got a prime candidate for bankruptcy due to the money I spend on facial products alone ( oh, and co-pays ). And yes, a complete mental case too! I used to apply a little bit of topical bacitracin to my face after I picked so as to avoid infection, but I'm not so sure it was working. I bought this here Rescue Balm stuff and it was just what I needed! It says to put a small amount on your pimple after you've treated it w a hydrocolloidal patch (they don't work for me). But I figured I'd try it on the messes I've created on my face from picking. Doesn't really say what it does or how it does it on the box but I just know it works. It somehow shrinks and eliminates the "mess" within hours if applied a couple times a day. It dries up the spot where you apply it but it does not dry or irritate your skin. Sensitive skin like mine tolerates it very well. I love the consistency of it and it doesn't burn at all and I sometimes apply it all over my face. Do use a good moisturizer with it though as directed. In a few hours (sometimes minutes for me) you will see it work it's magic. It's not meant as a spot treatment for under-the-skin acne, it's specialty is "picked" or "popped" blemishes or those just treated with a patch. I use it right on top of my Differin gel and then apply makeup right over it. It blends in and makes skin feel soft. It's a small tube but lasts a long time and it is not expensive at all. It worked just fine. Doesn't completely remove the blemishes but lightens them.

This balm is a lifesaver. The panthenol in it is the star of the product. It helps the skin so much to get back the glow and minimize the redness. Would get it again for sure.
