I love this bars. Good for snacking or as a lower sugar breakfast bar on the go. Like that they are plant based. Healthier than the average energy bars. Tastes good, not overly sweet or salty, and chewy. Good for an afternoon snack too. Have tried the variety pack, the almond and the chocolate sea salt. Will buy again.

I tried these as a low carb, satisfying brain boost. The first two I tried were the peanut butter chip and chocolate sea salt. My daughter and I both liked them, so I decided to try these. I'm not as big a fan of the banana nut, but she likes them. I like the wild blueberry better than she does (so does my son). They are a little pricey, but the ingredients are good, and they do satisfy and keep me felling full for hours. Will buy again. I have always liked chocolate mint, so had to try that flavor too and really enjoyed the cool chocolatey mint taste.

We like these. High protein, low sugar. Taste is pretty good for a healthy snack.

Very good bars

UPDATE, SEPTEMBER 2020: Shortly after I wrote my review, I received a refund from Amazon AND I was sent a new, free shipment of bars as well as a note from the CMO of IQBar. I finally got around to trying one of the new bars a few days ago and it wasn't moldy which was a plus. It tasted fine but I still wouldn't repurchase the bars. I brought the new bars to my job instead of letting them sit in the cabinet because I don't want them. However, I am changing my review to 4 stars for an improved taste and quality over the prior bars and the company's excellent customer service. ******************************************** August 2020: I like the taste of the matcha bar; the other flavors are only okay. However, I'm not going to waste food so I would have one every few weeks. They all have an expiration date of April 2021, yet when I went to eat a Wild Blueberry bar today, it is moldy. They didn't get wet and are stored in my kitchen cabinet. There is no reason why this should happen well before the listed expiration date. I have three bars of each flavor left over, so I checked the other blueberry ones and they have the same mold issue. Gross! I don't even want to eat the other bars, mold or not, because they all came in the same box. I just threw them all out. What a waste of my money!

The first one I tried was the banana nut. My first impression was that the texture was a little weird or mealy. I thought it almost tastes like over ripe bananas. I was a little scared that I wouldn't be able to eat them and it would be a big waste. A couple days later I gave a different flavor a try. It has the same texture, but since I was expecting it I didn't find it as off putting. The flavor was better and I had it with a big glass of water. It filled me up and was very satisfying. I really liked all the other flavors, but it took me a while to go back to the banana. When I finally did, I liked it. I think, like so many other regular foods made keto, it just takes a little getting used to. They are not the playdough consistency of Quest bars, they taste a bit more natural. I think they are worth a try if you are looking for a good keto bar, but don't give up on them after one bar if you find them a little strange. They are also really good with a cup of coffee.

These are plant based protein bars that taste great. They are much more expensive through Amazon. Costco Next has better prices.

The previous iteration of these bars provided a convenient, low-carb, nutritious source of healthy protein and fiber, but the taste weren’t that great. The company recently sent me a 10% discount code to try the bars with newly reformulated recipes (aka “IQBAR 2.0”), which had just been launched on Amazon (with new packaging to make it easier to distinguish them from the bars made from the original recipes). I decided to buy a combo assortment that would allow me to try all six new-recipe flavors. They’re terrific! The taste and texture, and also the nutritional profile, have all been significantly improved. As a chocolate lover, I was surprised to find that I enjoy the flavors in the fruit lovers assortment as much as those in the chocolate lovers assortment. As someone who follows a keto lifestyle, I really appreciate that these bars provide 12 grams of plant-based protein, 6-8 grams of fiber, and only 3 net carbs. The biggest difference in the new recipes is they are sweetened with allulose instead of erythritol - a very welcome change, indeed! I’ll definitely be buying more of these new and genuinely improved IQBAR protein bars.
