Student - Educational Classic World globe, Blue Ocean, Raised Relief feature, including a bonus map, made in USA, 12"/30cm diameter

I ordered this product through Amazon, with Globes Direct as the seller, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I had to contact the seller because of a mistake I made when placing my order. They responded right away, were incredibly kind and helpful, and made the entire process easy. As an unexpected bonus, they even sent me an extra map for my kids to use, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The globe itself is exactly what I was hoping for, it’s the perfect size, well-made, and very sturdy. Thank you to Globes Direct for the outstanding customer service, and thank you to Amazon for partnering with such a wonderful seller. I highly recommend both the product and this seller!

My daughter is home schooling her children and I wanted to use a globe to help teach my grandchildren some basic geography. I prefer to buy “Made in America” whenever possible as I am well aware of the lack of quality control in many of the manufactured products made in China. In addition, globes made in China reflect the world as the Chinese see it – not as it is. Therefore, when it came time to purchase the grandkids’ globe, I chose to go with Replogle – “America’s Trusted Globe Manufacture.” This company has been in the Midwest since its inception in 1930 and claim that 99% of “Replogle globes are hand-crafted in America.” When I opened the package and saw that the lines of latitude and longitude were not aligned on the Student-Educational Classic World Globe. I sent an email to Replogle with a couple of pictures showing the lack of alignment. Almost immediately the COO responded. He agreed that the “quality of the globe is not Replogle acceptable” and offered “get a replacement globe shipped today.” I was so impressed with Replogle’s response that I offered to upgrade to another globe and ended up getting the Adams globe. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the Adams globe and the interaction with Replogle’s COO. If you’re going to purchase a globe, I highly recommend getting one from Replogle – buy American!

Excellent Quality, my homeschool student loves studying the globe. It is great with the textures to show mountain ranges. The colors, boarders, ocean streams, everything is clearly marked and engaging. Great purchase. Flat double sided map is great as well. **One point to make is it labels the Gulf of America as the Gulf of Mexico on the globe and map.**

First glance it seems like a high quality but affordable globe, it's topo graphed/etched to make the feeling of mountains. The product is made in USA, it's got a high quality stand, it can be spun easily, the map geography is all correct and named correctly. I'm taking one star off because of the fitting of the top piece not being aligned correctly i had to do a little work on it to make it fit, overall my nephew loves it and he's been having fun learning about geography and various of places. Definitely recommended

We have been so pleased with this globe. The light is so nice and it’s a great world map! I shopped a lot of different ones and am very pleased with this one.

I gave this globe to my 11 year old grandson for his birthday and he was very excited which surprised me. He studied it and his mom helped him find several places on it . The globe was well packaged and arrived safely. I’m very glad I bought it for him.

I love this globe. It is large! Which is good to better see things on it. It is recent, so newer countries are included. And my granddaughter and I love the texture of the mountains—cool to touch plus you can really see how maintain ranges fit on Earth. For example, the Rockies run from Canada through western USA and seem to end in Mexico at the West Sierra Madre (look it up for better explanation). My granddaughter (10) just flew up to visit me, and we looked at what states she flew over. We’re trying out different international foods and looking up where the countries are.

This is a decent globe but I expected higher quality for the price and the brand. While it does have raised relief, it is too subtle. Also, it would have been nice if they still made globes with raised relief in the oceans to feel the trenches, etc. There is a very fragile piece of plastic on the top (see photo). It wiggles and feels/looks very cheap. There is a piece of clear plastic at the bottom, which also looks cheap. See photo. Overall, it is a decent globe but I put it in the "they sure don't make them like they used to" category. For the price paid, I expected a bit higher quality. One other thing, the bonus map is not laminated as stated. Rather, it is on glossy paper that can tear. It is just a bonus so no star deducted for that.

Nice looking, but light stopped working after 1 month. Would love a replacement

Solidly made. Attractive. Few quality control issues which I wouldn't expect at this price. If you are looking for a perfect cartographic piece to enjoy, maybe step up to a higher price point. I bought it as an education tool for my five yr olds who are children of a 2 continent family. Overall satisfied.
