ChooChoo End Table, Flip Top Narrow End Table with Drawer

I really like this end table. It is thin and fits in little or tight spaces. Has storage on the bottom and the top lifts up to use as storage. It has a drawer also. I bought it a year ago and it still is holding up, not falling apart or having any problems.

Nice End table for Computer Tablets, remote controls and is narrow enough for room.

The good: All pieces were in the box, it was t too bad to assemble [ instructions were good for Chinese translation], figment is decent, especially considering the cost, as is the finish. It is a sturdy little table, with nice hardware ( slides, hinges, etc) for the moving parts. The bad: As you can see from the photo above, while snapping in the diecast cam lock piece( which was giving some resistance because of the casting burr), it finally popped in and went right through the hole and popped out a chunk of the finish. Not a huge deal, as it is inside the drawer, and I simply glued it back on. Had I had it on a smooth, solid surface, that may not have happened. But I held it in my hand. Lesson learned. I gave it four stars only because I emailed the support email address to inquire about purchase of another piece, and have had no reply. Again, it is inside the drawer, so who really cares. The drawer itself is small, but so is the entire stand! It would be very unreasonable to expect more in quality without a substantial price difference - a decent stand.

These two (2) tend tables are the first pieces of assembly-required furniture that I have received from Amazon that were not damaged. This small table is very well packed. The manufacturer really did a great job of protecting their products. It's also very heavy for the size. It's not so-called 'fine' furniture. However, it is not cheap (easy to damage during assembly) junk parts either. I remain impressed with the end tables. Assembly is fairly easy if you follow the directions and lay out the pieces to match up with the illustrations. There's a small screwdriver included. I didn't notice the bit was reversible until after I gathered my own tools to make the job easier. I do not know if it is possible to use ONLY the included screwdriver to complete the assembly. The grip is very hard plastic and not comfortable to hold for long. I recommend these narrow tables if you have limited space next to you living room furniture like me. You won't even have to spew any profanities during assemble.

I ordered this little table for the basement family room, as a side table for when we watch movies there. It's exactly what I wanted, with a box for the remotes, a surface to put glasses on, takes little space. It looks as cute as in the photos, it feels solid. Often furniture bought on-line turns out to be flimsy and shabby, but this is not. Assembly instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I had absolutely zero glitches on the way. Be cautioned: there are maybe dozens of wood screws to put in. By the end my hands were mush (had to take breaks too). I am not substracting any stars because this is what you buy: it's a more complicated piece of furniture, it has to have all that metal to stay together well (by the way, no plastic fittings, another plus). All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.

Overall this is a great product and fits exactly what I needed in a corner next to my couch. The flip top is extremely convenient for storing controllers and chargers so they do not get lost. Instructions were easy to follow and only needed 1 person to put it together.

Quality is excellent. Instructions well documented. All the holes lined up. All pieces numbered with the exception of the rails. We did get a little confused of how these were installed. Had to detach and switch sides. Otherwise every thing was perfect. Would recommend the table it is the exact size we needed. We highly recommend.

Nice diminutive, not too sturdy side table for small spaces, and an unpleasant assembly experience. This could have been avoided had the manufacturer spent another five cents on better screws. Instructions are very good. The problem was getting the screws in for the drawer roller/guides. The supplied screwdriver was too small to get enough torque in the confined space. Pilot holes were too small. I tried alternatives, including the supplied screwdriver pushed hard with liquid soap, but I could not get the screws fully seated and their soft metal Phillips heads stripped easily, even when trying to be careful. I had to back them all out and toss them. I obtained similar sized ones from my spare screws that were made from brass and steel. With real metal ones, I could use alternative screwdrivers. It took more time to accomplish this one step than the entire rest of the assembly. In addition, some small items were mislabeled and I was shorted several screws. (Not that I was going to use them after the first experience.) Plastic tabs to cover exposed cams in and around the drawer would normally be supplied. But they saved pennies here as well. Overall, I would not recommend this line of products. I have never had any issues in the past with that famous furniture store from Sweden for its sturdy, assemble it yourself furniture. I am keeping this item (unless something else happens) only because it is now assembled and it fits the space.
