Loving This Oumax 6 Plus
Oumax 6plusThis is the second Oumax product in my family and we are not disappointed. First their customer service is outstanding. I contacted them that I will be leaving town by January the 10th so I needed a way to track the shipment and though the watch was not scheduled to arrive until middle of January to beginning of February, they made sure I got it within a week of receiving my email. When I first got the watch, it arrived and I did not see the back on the watch so I was disappointed, took pictures of the watch and was about to send an email until I decided to removed the black insert inside the box and everything else was in there, the battery, the manual, the charger and a screen protector. It did not come with an extra strap and that is what the manual says. The watch charged for over an hour, then I started the sync process. I did it from the phone, then from the watch. It receives notifications, but you NEED to delete the notifications on your phone if you want to receive the latest and greatest notifications. It only allows you to view 10 notifications and the old ones keep showing up until you delete them on your iPhone. The watch has only three clock faces which I hope they update, but everything is responsive and fully functional. I do not have a memory card in mine yet, so there are some features that I have not used, but the camera works and so does everything else. It syncs with my health app from the iPhone and tells how many steps I walk a day, a week, and flights climbed etc. I charge mine every night as the battery goes with usage, and this is a common theme with all smart watches. You can speak to Siri from the watch, take and initiate calls on the watch, look up your contacts, play or control music from the watch thats on your phone, make videos if you have a memory card inside, and it has motion gestures, a sleep monitor, sedentary reminder, pedometer, calendar, voice recorder, and calculator. This is not an Apple Watch and while I have never personally owned or seen an Apple Watch up close, I know I was not buying an Apple Watch and I definitely did not want to spend $300-$400 on a watch and this is the perfect substitute because it works as advertised with my iPhone. I cannot send SMS yet because it says I need a GSM chip in my watch and I don't have one, so that's one of the only features I haven't used yet. If you want an Apple Watch then spend $400. The Oumax 6 plus works as advertised and I love it.

Lacks features that would be handy, but for the price you get what you pay for. You can not respond to text messages from this watch, which is a major bummer.

iPhone Compatible. Wonderful iWatch alternative.
iPhone 6s+I'm gonna have to give this watch 4 solid stars. I have been wearing it daily since I got it about 2 weeks ago.Camera-you can take pictures with the watch camera (can't transport unless you add a SD card). With the ipohone you can also remotely shutter your own. For example, you can place your phone a few feet away and snap the photo right from your watch. Camera isn't wonderful, but it's still a pretty cool feature.Phone- After your iPhone is Bluetooth connected you can dial the phone number and use the watch to talk. The speaker is pretty loud, I've not had anyone say they've had any trouble hearing me. You can also access your iPhone contacts list, just click and call. You can also answer or reject incoming calls from the watch. The ringtones are limited, and I have not discovered a way to add more.Texting- You can read text messages on this watch if you have iPhone. There is however, no emoji support. If someone sends you a multimedia message (Video, Picture, Emoji, Gif, Voice) you will get a notification that you have received a message, but it will just open blank. You cannot reply to, or compose messages to send from this watch with iPhone. Some people have said you need a SIM card to reply to a message, I don't know. Getting a SIM card for texting is not something I'm interested in at the moment.Notifications- I get basically all notifications on my watch. Texts, calls, alerts, maps, event. From what I have noticed, everything that comes up as a notification on your phone, will come up on the watch. (That I have noticed so far). You can dismiss and delete the notification from the watch (no effect on the phone) but every time your watch reconnects, (like if you walk out of range then go back in range) all of the notifications will pop back up on the watch. From what I've gathered, they will clear if you clear/check them on your phone.Watch Faces- there are unfortunately only a few options for watch faces. At first, I thought this would be a big deal to me, but it really isn't. Haven't figured out a way to add more. (if possible)Apps ListCalendarPhone LogMicrophone (sound recorder)Video PlayerSleep MonitorBluetooth Notification ListPedometerFile ManagerBluetooth Camera (remote capture)Sedentary ReminderCalculatorVideo RecorderMotion Settings (settings for raise your wrist to wake watch or shake to answer)TimerFind My DeviceThemes- cant tell any difference with themesMessagingPhoneContacts (phone book)CameraAlarmSettingsAudio Player- Can play music from iPod and Pandora maybe more, haven't tried. Plays any sound from phone when connected like audio from Facebook videos. Not sure how to turn this off or adjust.BluetoothImage ViewerI have not found a way to add/download more apps.Look, this is worth every penny of its price. I love this thing. It has a great range and connects easily. You do need to download the Mediatek but it's a GREAT watch for the price. If you can live without texting from the watch, it is a wonderful alternative to the ridiculously priced iWatch (which I unfortunately bought for my husband before finding this) the battery lasts about a day (connected) before needing charged. I love all the functionality this has with iPhone. Great buy!

Not what expected
It didn't turn on at first even though it made beeping sounds and it was fully charged. Caller ID didn't show who was calling only the phone number. Very dissapointed that the features mentioned did not work, but the graphics were good.

I purchased an additional kit that they recommended for charging my watch the magnetic charger
I am having nothing but problems with this seller, I purchased an additional kit that they recommended for charging my watch the magnetic charger . They stated would come with the watch did not watch came with the same unit. I purchased additionally, three weeks after I received the watch. The watchband broke. I ended up purchasing a new band from Amazon. One of the reasons I purchased this watch was there one year satisfaction guarantee, which appears to be meaningless. My watch, stop working the supplier stated that it was probably the battery but now they’re requesting proof of purchase before they will help me, I believe proof of purchase is on the email , purchase at your own wrists

This is a good starter-smartwatch, if you are curious about wearable technology
This is a good starter-smartwatch, if you are curious about wearable technology. For me, my life is just mot that active, where I am constantly needing to check txt messages and email. This watch has many great features and some may welcome that. I found that set-up was not as easy as they have you believe. Instructions are not that detailed. and tutorial videos are limited to a couple of cheezy homemade utube videos. Again, if you don't have the funds for an i-watch, and you have an active lifestyle, this would be a good purchase.
