Had a thin. all cotton queen blanket for last several years. Washer and dryer finally started shredding the blanket edge. This was a replacement blanket. It is great! Lighter weight, all cotton, kinda woven pattern. Just warm enough to take off the chill, but not thick or heavy. Slightly off white color. No problem in washer or dryer. We get 90 degree summers, so it should be fine and winters are teens to 40 degrees. Probably want a heavier blanket or a second blanket depending on room temperature at night. Mine is usually set at 69 degrees. I give it 5 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up liking this blanket. I’ve been using it both on the bed and while lounging on the couch, and it works perfectly in both situations.

The color is spot on. The feel, is gorgeous! It's actually warmer than you might think, for being as thin compared to say, one of those fleece blankets. It washed up nicely, before using it. I absolutely love this blanket! Since it's cotton, there is no obvious floaters when you shake it out, so no visible shedding, it fits my king sized bed just right. Enough hangs over each side so it keeps you covered when underneath. The quality is so very nice. This is actually my first time owning a blanket like this and I can't see myself ever buying another fleece type. The fewer things floating around my home, the better. Love it!!

Bought this Utopia blanket for elderly mother. I believe from the feel of it that it is 100% cotton as tag says. It is NOT lightweight. I agree with one reviewer "This blanket is not thick but could almost be a bedspread." It is heavy. Mother likes very lightweight, fuzzy blankets that don't weigh her down. She rejected this one that has a canvas-like feel. Yet, she can run the heat in her assisted living apartment as she chooses so doesn't really need a warm blanket like this one.

This is a real person reviewing a real product, the cotton blanket. I have had this blanket for seven months and love it! Let me try to clear up some of the discrepancy in the reviews. I suspect that some reviewers are expecting this blanket to be similar to blankets made from other materials. First, this is a 100% cotton blanket. Have you ever owned a 100% cotton sweater? It is not as soft as sweaters made of other materials - acrylic, fleece, Viscose, etc., but it wears better and lasts forever. This blanket is not anything like burlap nor is it like cashmere, but it is softer than most other cotton blankets I have owned. Again the cotton sweater, it weighs more than sweaters made of other materials, especially man-made ones. Similarly, this blanket has some weight to it. This is not a Vellux or fleece blanket. This blanket wraps around you and makes you feel like you are wrapped, not just warm. Likewise, this is not a quilt or microplush blanket. Cotton blankets are one layer of woven material, so compared to a quilt or microplush blanket it is thin. That does not translate into a lack of warmth. This blanket is as thick as any other cotton blanket I have owned and is more tightly woven so that it does not have broken threads unraveling into holes and holds the warmth well. As is expected of cotton, it washes well and get softer each time. (This time think about your denim jeans.) I have not had any issues with excessive shrinkage, and I don't baby it. It goes in the washer and dryer without any special care. It was oversized to begin with, so the shrinkage was not an issue. During the summer this blanket went above the top sheet and below a quilt - not the big thick kind, the bits of fabric pieced together quilt. It was perfect for the cool mountain nights. Now, in the winter, it is above the top sheet, under a wool blanket and the same quilt and works better than any previous combination of blankets I have tried -with my thermostat set at 55 degrees! (Ask any outdoors-man/woman, warmth is all about the layering.) The beauty of cotton is the breathable nature of the fabric - warmth without the suffocation that comes with many man-made fabrics. A well-made 100% cotton blanket is a unique and delightful treat, but just like there are "cat people" and "dog people", they are not for everyone.

Fantastic blanket. Wash it once or twice and it’s perfectly soft with the right blend of breathable and just warm enough.

I usually don’t write reviews but this time I wanted to do it because I’m very happy with this purchase. These blankets are exactly what I was looking for: they’re soft and warm without being too heavy. They are also nice looking. I washed in cold water and dried them in low heat as prevention for shrinkage. They came out perfect.

Growing up at my grandmother‘s house or my mother-in-law‘s house, there would always be the soft thermal blankets on the beds underneath the sheet and comforter most recently as our kids have moved out. We got new furniture to set up our guest bedroom. The kids stayed the night and used the comforter as a blanket during the summer in Florida that could be kind of warm so I remembered back to the nostalgic days and bought one of the blankets to put on the bed for them to use a to keep warm and cover up be. It’s also cool in the summer months and see so it doesn’t ruin the comforter. It came vacuum sealed. I opened it. I got a size up even though the bed is a full I ordered a clean so it was big enough to be comfortable and cover both people. Unfortunately this blanket wasn’t as soft as I thought it would be even after washing it. It is big it is sturdy. I thought it would’ve been a little bit more open and airy another words the knit of the fabric not so tight more of a waffle holy pattern I’m a little disappointed at the softness, but it will definitely serve its purpose.

I am in love with this blanket. The cotton is nice and soft and durable. I washed it and it came out great. I love the bit of weight it has. I order the big as I wanted to layer it on my king size bed. The Khaki colour is very nice

Richtig tolle, große Baumwolldecken! Ich bin begeistert. Das Muster der Decken ist ebenfalls sehr ansprechend. Habe schon lange nach erschwinglichen Decken aus 100% Baumwolle gesucht. Im Gegensatz zu Polyester-Decken laden sich diese nicht statisch auf. Nichts find ich schlimmer als das "geknister" ;) Ist auch optimal, wenn man Haustiere hat, da die Haare dann nicht wie irre dran kleben bleiben. Auch nach der ersten Wäsche alles wunderbar. Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen

très content de cette couverture en coton, bien pratique en mi saison. Après lavage, ne déteint pas, je l'utilise en ce moment sur un canapé pour couper la chaleur... top.
