Scythe Slip Stream Slim 120mm Case Fan (SY1212SL12L)

Great fans and adequate airflow, they clearly aren’t going to blast air because of the obvious fact that their slim and small but for those that need to fit fans in tight spaces and want a little airflow these are great and not really noisy you can barely hear them. Put two of these on a side panel of a corsair 300r cause the monstrosity of the r9 390 wouldn’t let other thicker fans fit on the side panel. They provide a constant stream of cold air right onto the gpu which in my case is great cause the r9 390 can get pretty hot but stays nice and cool with these installed. 19.53 dBA / 19.40 CFM = 32 m³/h / DC12 V / 0.08 A (800 rpm Version) 21.71 dBA / 24.03 CFM = 41 m³/h / DC12 V / 0.17 A (1,200 rpm Version) 28.89 dBA / 38.05 CFM = 65 m³/h / DC12 V / 0.19 A (1,600 rpm Version) 37.00 dBA / 45.47 CFM = 78 m³/h / DC12 V / 0.25 A (2,000 rpm Version)

My case has a couple spots for fans on top; problem is that with full size fans (120mmX120mmX25mm) they just are 5mm too thick and interfere with my RAM...so thin fans were needed. with 4 other fans in case didn't need a bunch of air flow from these...to my surprise they put out almost as much as full size and are quiet to boot. I use L7808 voltage regulators to slow fans down that are not controlled by MoBo to keep the noise down and this worked great with these. I like the style only wish they came in clear with blue LEDs. Heck maybe they do...I will order more all the same to have on hand. I likes! If you need a slim fan these are a great choice.

I purchased this fan because a standard 25mm fan would not fit in a specific spot on my case. I am satisfied with my purchase but there are a few things you should know. The Pros: This fan is very slim and is going to fit just about anywhere you have clearance issues. It is also very quiet. The Cons: It doesn't move a lot of air. Even at full blast it's not really that noticeable. Some air is always better than none though. I would reccomend this to others only if they needed a fan that was ultra slim.

fits perfectly at the top of my case without touching my mobo. Although not the same bearing as the 'scythe kama flow 2' that i use at the rear of my case, that being said its as quite and moves a lot of air. had installed for about a month now, well run in and still as quite as the day i installed it. all in all a very good fan if you dont have the room for the wider 'kama flow 2' and a great buy!

Low quality fan, is loud (surprisingly)

Used this as a SilverStone 500w SFX-L fan replacement, and no complaints, can't hear it when it spins which was the issue with the stock fan. EDIT: Fan died as of 08/27/2016, so it only lasted five months, which means the product is not worth buying. Look else where for more reliable products.

it was an okay fan, it was the only one I could fit inside a small space within my tiny media pc but it really pushes barely any air. still some air was better than none so it worked for my purpose just to get a little air into a stale area in my case that no other fan would have fit in.

I ordered that fan to install behind asus 990fx tuf in thermaltake chaser a31. I'm running fx 8320 at 4.6 and I wanted to cool socket on it since I'm on water cooling. Anyways I did mod on side panel (drilled hole with holesaw 121mm) and that fan fits perfect. Installed silverstone filter on front. Fan is quiet and my socket temps dropped 6 degrees on idle and load. Big difference. Fan is not moving lots of air but enough for me. Recommended for anyone.

Tut was er soll und ist auch noch super leise dabei :) Benutze ihn als Austauschlüfter für meinen 3D Drucker, da das Original viel zu laut war.
