No. It is an open, stretchy mesh.

Could I use this to hold a bar of soap in the shower? Would it be too scratchy on my skin?

There are small holes, but there is a thine sponge layer, the holes will be very small. The material is a little bit more scratchy than the regular sponge.

Is the material stretchy? Would it fit small to medium sized vintage manual camera lenses?

The size is 10x15cm (3.5"x5.5"). The bag does not have any shock resistant function. You can use the bag to protect lenses when your store the lenses in the lenses case. We do not recommend to use it to carry lenses without professional camera lenses case.

what is the details of the measurement. How many cm from top to bottom and from side to side

The length is 15cm (from top to bottom), the width is 10cm (from side to side), please allow +/- 0.5cm measurement error as it is handmade product. Thank you.
