Great item
Recently purchased a tool like this before, working at a restaurant a bartender or server can make good use of this item when trying not to make a mess with the cutting mechanism. Works as intended, thank you.

Not as good as the black version
I love the design of this wine key...the attached foil cutter is ingenious! I already had one in black (which i would rate 5 stars) and got the red one for work, but it is significantly lighter and just not as sturdy and effective as the black one.

Lacks necessary hinge
Peel's foil off like nobody's business! But struggles to pull cork unfortunately

A miniature boomerang
Arrived late. Noticeably smaller than boomerang corkscrews I have bought in the past, although it's called the same model name.

This is only opener wine lovers need.
We have one and wanted another one as a back up and for travel. We wondered why we could not find them in stores, so decided to try Amazon. We were delighted when we found they have them. Wine is our beverage of choice and we feel that the proper opening a bottle of wine is a bit "ceremonial". So all the fancy powered and other "trick" openers are not for us. This is the one and only brand for us and it you want to open a bottle of wine properly this is the only opener you need. That nice little "pop" when you remove the cork is something you don't get with those "fancy" openers.

great in theory...but this vender could use a product vamp
any waiter can tell you how much better this style of wine key is compared to most. It's the no drama wine key, it's fast it's easy and it makes a perfect cut....no need for the right lighting for a cut, no sloppy foil...but i bought two of these one for me one for a friend and it just seems the plastic mechanism is not made for the rough environment....they both broke within 2 months the last black one that I had for years still is working....so I definitely suggest the boomerang wine key maybe just with another vendor

Great corkscrew. Good long worm. Nice to have the capsule cutter included, and the two-step process gets the tough corks out easily.
