Thrustmaster TCA Officer Pack Airbus Edition - Comprehensive Flight Control System with Sidestick and Throttle Quadrant for PC

The item is perfect, it was for my son's birthday and it arrived in a couple of days and works exactly as needed. He's happy, I'm happy ☺️ if you are thinking about buying yourself one, just do it. Life is to short for indecision.

These spoiler and flap units have to be added to the Thrustmaster Airbus two throttle unit. They are easily added using a combination of Thrustmaster’s own instructions and a YouTube video. They have added a very welcome upgrade to immersion in my MSFS 2024 simulator, so I’m very happy to have purchased them. The combined unit is relatively easy to configure to use with the default Airbus aircraft (eg A320, A330-200) and also the payware iniBuilds A340-300 and Fenix A320. Though I have yet to properly configure the Autobrake switch. When I say relatively easy, for me it was not a simple plug and play. You do need prior experience in setting bindings or time and patience to watch (very helpful) YouTube tutorials.

Bought to use with X Plane 12 (PC) that has its own native driver software included so Thrustmaster driver installation not required. However mapping of TCA Airbus controls for different aircraft (both default aircraft and 3rd party add-one) can be tricky, frustrating and time-consuming. They all require setting and careful adjustment of axis response curves to enable reversers and Flex temp, Climb thrust and TOGA detent positions to function correctly. Toliss add-on aircraft (A319, 320, 321, 340) are easier to set up within the sim but also have/require a setting to be made within the Toliss ISCS for each aircraft. It is worth noting that the reverser triggers/levers are simply mechanical latches allowing throttle levers to move into the reverse section of the lever’s travel. The X Plane 12 default Airbus A330 is quite difficult to set up and lifting the triggers and moving throttle levers slightly into the reverser zone visually moves the throttle levers forward with the reverser levers raised. (This may not be the correct or ideal setting tbh) Setting the TCA Airbus quadrant for use with Boeing aircraft such as (freeware Zibo B737 and LevelUp B737 series) is straightforward but again require manual adjustment of the response curves. Similar to the Airbus aircraft, moving the physical throttle levers into the reverse zone activates the reverser operation in the sim. The Thrustmaster TCA Airbus throttle quadrant is a well made and authentic looking product and I would recommend it but can be challenging to configure.

I’ve been using this on flight sim for almost a year now, very good for beginners getting into flight sims. It also works well on war thunder!

As listed so cannot complain

A disclaimer before i start my rant; I returned this back to Amazon after just 2-3 hours of use. The reason why, I mainly play DCS and Star Citizen. Setting up is easy, its literally plug and play. Its relatively light weight and for a plastic hotas the quality is not bad. You can remove the detents, so the throttle becomes full range. Switches are nice and clicky, but some of the buttons are bit mushy for my taste. But again, what you pay what you get. So overall, its a nice product but I couldn't use it with DCS and SC because in these games you need as much button, hats, rollers as you can on your throttle to be somewhat effective and dont have to use your keyboard all the time. Yes, I can hear you saying "hey dumb dumb, why did you buy an airbus edition hotas then?" because it looked cool man, I wanted something nice and slick and the dual throttle sold it for me. But I quickly realised that the usability of it for anything other than MFS is very low. Of course, if you fly in MFS, especially the airbus, go for it, its an amazing replica. But if you want something more "universal" then go with T16000M, which is what I bought after returning this and I fricking love that model, has tones of buttons and hat on its throttle and the joystick is very responsive and smooth (this one shares the same joystick so no issues there, its an amazing budget friendly joystick). Again, its a good product but be careful if you play space sims or DCS or other combat sims.

A good quality, handy throttle with some nice Airbus touches - works great on X-Plane 11 with my ToLiss A319/A321, and can be configured with any other aircraft in the X-Plane controller settings. I’m aware it works with FS2020 also, although I haven’t used it much on that sim. The thrust detents work great, although the manual thrust ‘gate’ is a fair bit smaller than on the real thing - although the quadrant on the whole is probably just over half the size, so this is to be expected. My only minor criticism, is the resistance still feels a little too low, meaning the motion of the throttles is a little bit too loose, but still doesn’t feel flimsy or poorly built (remember this isn’t a professional 1:1 replica piece of hardware!). Overall good value, for those looking for a handy throttle quadrant, which works especially nicely flying your chosen Airbus!

Espectacular, aunque me demore un poco para configurarlo funciona muy bien, podría ser mejor, más real, por ejemplo los ajustes de los flaps y el resorte para quitar la guía le daría más realismo, lo mismo para poder armar los spoilers, pero cumple su función, buen material y funciona muy bien con el A320 de Fénix

Reçu 2 jours avant le délai annoncé. Normalement livré entre le 7 et le 10 décembre, reçu le 5. Emballage adapté et livraison conforme. Le prix lors de la commande a augmenté, vue la forte demande du produit (225 € ). Mais ça en vaut la peine pour les passionnés de simulation comme moi depuis des années. Produit de très bonne qualité, testé sur FSX et FS2020. Installation facile depuis le site de Thrustmaster. Paramétrage des boutons fait sans aucun problème. Jouabilité Excellente sur mes simulateurs. Dans l'attente de recevoir le module (Volets et Spoilers) de la même marque. Je n'hésite plus à acheter des produits Thrustmaster qui sont vraiment de très bonne qualité. J'ai aussi plusieurs modules Saitek qui fonctionnent avec les modules Thrustmaster. Aucun problème de compatibilité entre ces deux marques. Bon vol à tous !
