Quality posi unit.
Well built. Works great. Installed in my truck for towing and in-the-woods hauling capabilities, replacing a stock open carrier. No issues, and I have put about 200 miles on it since the install (don't drive that truck much). No abnormal noises.

Better than factory well made
I use this unit on a 1968 Camaro 12 bolt rear end. It came complete well-made machine surfaces everything fit as designed. I used the factory Yukon additive. I have 6000 miles under the rear end with a 327 manual transmission and both tires spin when power applied no slippage. Going forward I would not look for a used GM unit and just use a Yukon much simpler. It is well built and works well. I did buy the wrong unit because they have three models for different gearing and it was an easy exchange. Great customer service.

Good Quality part for the money.
Replaced the open differential unit in my 99 Dodge Durango with this limited slip unit and it is an awesome upgrade! On the 9.25 Dodge differential replacement is simpleI suggest using only "Timkin" bearings, good quality gear oil and limited slip additive. I used Lucas 85W 140 gear oil and their additive. The differential is working perfectly. While you have things apart it is a good time to inspect/replace the outer axle bearings and axle seals which are very easy to replace at that time as well.

It's a legit yukon product
Originally purchased one of the from a company in Wa state for double the price, this is a wholesaler which cuts the price drastically. Exact same packaging, product (stamped from manufacturer w/ serial numbers and everything), excellent customer service too. If you need a new locker for your gm 10 bolt this is the best option to replace the stock g80 (gov-lock/ gov-bomb). Ran my first one for 150k miles, didn't know fluid replacement was crucial to clutch longevity. I'll be changing this diff gear oil every 30k. True Yukon gear part, exact replacement for almost all gm 10 bolt rearends. Don't believe the -2 at the end of the part #, it's a ydggm8.5-3-30-1 made in the USA. This was less than half price from the local company that produces them, that company wanted to rip me off, this company sold me my parts at a reasonable price. I'll be recommending them to everone. Thank you very much.

Got both tires spinnin!
Installed in my 1963 c10. Factory 10 bolt rear. Iโve use Yukon products for years and they are very strong. Install was smooth and came with good direction/instruction. Also very clear of what oil to run with it.When installing your axles, it is very tight getting c-clips inside the carrier. Itโs suppose to be. Take your time and have a helper push the wheel end of the axle toward the carrier if needed.

Works as expected

AMAZING PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE COMPANY!
This is the second rear end we have had to replace in my 05 sierra with 400k miles, so far we have had no problems with it.. the company's customer service team was absolutely outstanding when i had trouble with my purchase of their $40 lifetime guarantee for this part. My card was saying I had been charged twice, but the gentleman made sure I wasn't and even shipped the card for the warranty next day for 100% free! then called me again to tell me he had the tech people check just to be sure. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the people working there! definitely would buy again if i didn't have the warranty for it!

Well built 'posi-trac'
I got a great deal on this Yukon posi, it came down to 606. bucks black Friday, for my 1971 Chevy K10,it's a shame Yukon company wouldn't include the Yukon posi-track additive that is required, some guys might cheap out on the additive and burn up the clutches, SHAME ON YOU YUKON.I'll be installing it soon.
