Simlu Unisex Reusable Fabric Face Mask, 2 Layer, Washable, Black Face Mask

These are so comfortable! Great purchase! I have a big head and tight cartilage in my ears so finding a washable mask with thin, comfortable straps has been tough. After reading reviews, I took a chance and bought these. I originally got them for my son for school, but I’m definitely keeping one for myself after trying one on. They’re a soft cotton, sort of like comfortable leggings or a man’s undershirt. I love that the straps are adjustable and that the adjusters don’t slide around at all. They looked very small in the package and even when I layed them on the counter, but when I put one on, they covered my nose and mouth perfectly down to underneath my chin because the pleats spread out nicely. There’s a thin metal piece in the nose area, which can move, but unless you try to move it (by feeling for it, feeding one end and guiding it, the way you would with a hoodie string that has fallen out), it stays in place. There’s not a lot of room for the metal nosepiece to move, as it’s sewn in plenty tight enough, but if for some reason it moves in the washing machine, it can be slid over and re-centered easily. I washed 2 of them as soon as they arrived and hung them to dry and they did not shrink. One of my pictures shows the one not washed and the other 2 fresh from the washing machine. I will definitely buy more of these if after a month or so of regular wear, they’re still holding up, but as of now, it’s a 5 star review from me!

I purchased this mask back in Aug. 2020. It fits very well, not too tight, and is very soft and comfy. You can adjust the strings around your ears. I waited with my review till now, in order to test the wear and washing. They did not smell bad when we first got them, & my kids & I used them right out off the bag. Normally I would wash them first, but we needed them right away. I washed some twice already in the hot wash in a side loader. When I wash them, I stuff them in the bag with my bras, socks etc. They do well through the hot wash. The black do NOT bleed into the white backing material. People claim they shrink. I do NOT put them in the dryer unless I need to shrink them. Just hang them up on an hanger over night to dry and they do NOT shrink. They actually stretch out a little, because I have sinus problems, my nose clogged a lot, so lot of times I have my hand under the mask to lift it a little so I can breathe more air. But you can breathe well through this mask when my nose is open. It is 100% Cotton, a T-Shirt material. Cotton will shrink in the dryer, but it would loosen up again after each wear. Thats what cotton does. I love these masks, and I would definitely buy them again.

Fit nice and comfortable.

These were exactly what I was looking for. Something that would stretch to the bridge of my nose when needed and collapse out of the way when I want to drink my coffee without bulgy fabric feeling awkward. The nose bridge wire is perfect for keeping shape over my nose so my glasses don't fog. And they are very soft and comfortable. The ear straps are both adjustable and flexible. The style was also important to me because I work in a healthcare setting, so they needed to look professional without graphics or print. And since they are designed after the standard medical/surgical mask, they look and fit perfect. They are not shipped in fancy, expensive retail packaging - which is not necessary anyway - and they don't have any funky smells. They do not include any washing care instructions, but since the layers are both 100% cotton and it has a semi-rigid nose piece and small plastic ear band adjusters, I recommend washing in a cold, casual/gentle cycle and dry in low heat, casual/gentle setting.

I must have purchased a dozen different styles of masks since the beginning of Strange Days, and this, by far, is the superior offering. Unlike any of the also-rans, this is the only mask that has suited all the members of the family: facial type, male or female, glasses-or-no. The silicone slide adjuster makes getting just the right fit quick and easy. A wire nose bridge creates a snug fit for extra security. The fabric is soft and comfortable to wear. Some reviewers mentioned they were a bit warm, but our family has noticed the opposite actually. Yes, they are warmer than wearing nothing, but provide more ventilation than several of the other models we have purchased. I have washed them several times ... usually line dry in the sun, but they have also gone through a hot dryer a few times as welll, and still look and function like brand new. I immediately returned to stock up in both colors and was heartbroken to see that the stock was completely depleted. MORE, PLEASE!!!

The mask is soft and comfortable. The only problem is the nose piece used to conform the mask to the face. The metal bit is too weak. It does not hold the shape I need it to hold. Some of my breath escapes and fogs up my glasses that I must wear. It's fine if I'm not breathing hard, but I have to constantly be readjusting every few minutes. It needs a thicker metal bar, or just something stronger. Please, us visually-challenged folk beg for a good nose-piece. It's nice quality for the rest though, considering the price. I would pay some more for a better nose-piece.

These are the best fitting and most comfortable masks I've found, and I've tried quite a few. I have a small face and it's hard to find masks that fit properly. These are pleated, have adjustable ear loops, and a nose wire, so I can actually get them to fit my face. The material they are made from is super soft and comfortable. They have 2 layers of fabric. The ear loops are stretchy, soft, and slim (important to me because I wear glasses and thick ear loops are too bulky to allow them to sit correctly). Throughout the entire course of the pandemic I've been wearing a mask for many hours a day at work and on public transportation -- I'd estimate I'm wearing a mask for about 60 hours each week. These masks are so comfortable I forget I'm wearing them. And at the end of the day I just toss them in the hamper with the rest of my laundry and wash them with no special considerations. They hold up great.

After trying a handful of different masks, I picked up a three pack of these mainly because I wanted something adjustable in plain black. I've been extremely impressed with these right out of the package. The masks are very, very soft and the elastic is the perfect blend of comfort and strength. The adjustable slides make it easy to accommodate any size noggin, and the masks overall are very durable. After a few months of nearly daily wear, they still feel and perform like new. The only slight criticism I might have is that they seem a little more restrictive/harder to breathe in than other masks I've worn, which can be a little daunting if I'm on my feet for hours, as I still seem to be suffering some mild side effects from a bout of pneumonia last year. However, most people would likely see that as a feature, not a bug, so I would still heartily recommend these masks for anyone.
