Press and hold the UP button or the DOWN button until the target number of DAYS is reached. Press the SET button again and the HOURS display screen blinks. Press and hold the UP or the DOWN button until the set target of HOURS is reached. Repeat steps to set MINUTES and SECONDS. Press the SET button again to stop the setting mode. The SECONDS display wil stop blinking. To start COUNTDOWN: press START button.

I purchased this clock as a count down clock to my retirement. The pro is that it is easy to set up and compact. However, you have to calculate the dates to set this up and it is all on you to make sure that the dates reflected is correct.
