This is the screen. Simple repair, don't send more money for a new one!

Bought this to fix a broken screen in the Infant Optics DRX-8 monitor. The ribbon cable is in a different place than the OEM display which prevents the unit from closing properly. The cable goes directly over a screw hole.The thickness of this screen prevents the metal retaining frame from fastening as well.There are other reviews here that mention this screen worked for their DXR-8 monitor, but my unit definitely does not.

I thought it would it doesn’t.. no fault against the company. I just thought it might work.

This was a great product. Our Infant Optics DXR-8 fell and the LCD screen got destroyed. We couldn’t see our child anymore. I could have replaced the monitor for $100 or try this LCD screen. The hardest part replacing the monitor was the adhesive on the existing monitor. I had to use a razor blade. After that I popped out the old monitor and installed this one. It works great!! It saved me $80 on a new monitor. I would recommend

It worked and was a better picture then the original dxr-8 screen. Very happy with the results.

Worked great on my baby monitor, little more snug fit against the plastic but I am happy with the replacement.
