Cryli-Tek 5505-5 Gallons Solvent Based Acrylic High Gloss Wet Look Water Repellent, Concrete Sealer and Paver Sealer

Great product exactly what I was looking for nice finish I added one container of the non skid additive to 5 gallons product went on so easy with a 3/8 map roller I’m happy so far not slippery and drove and worked the surface 2 days later but it was dry in 1 hr walked on it in 5hrs used my man lift 24,000lbs drove my truck on it all in two days after so far great!!! Also contacted manufacturer and Lou was very helpful answering all my concerns!!the people that gave it poor reviews because of the strong odours PLEASE it a solvent base sealer what did you expect roses!! 2 days with shop doors open hardly smell anything!

I totally forgot to take before pictures but this went on very easy, granted our sidewalks hadn't been sealed in maybe 2 or even 3 yrs.. We rolled it on and brush into the grooves, it soaked it up quick, so it dried quick. Waited overnight did a 2nd coat this am.. and it just glided on over the 1st coat. Has a great shine it to, no bubbles, we shall see how it holds up overtime. But so far I would recommend! So after a week of drying, it went to this.. we reached out to company and they thought maybe it wasn't dry enough water coming up thru sealer, we let it dry the day & overnight. Or whatever sealer we had on previously reacted with it.. it looks horrible, we are going to wait for spring to try and do it again. Amazon did refund us $50, but still left with this. Very frustrating..

Now this solvent works fantastic! I have used Tee-kay and paid an ungodly price. This stuff sprays better holds a better sheen and doesn't have the dreaded dull spots that i previously had. I would give this product an A+++. I just used the 5 gallon red industrial pump sprayer to apply and cleaned with acetone when finished. Cleaned up nicely.

This product was easy to roll on. The sealant covered well and looked great with hardly any darkening. The product does have a solvent smell but cleared quickly. Product was dry to touch within a few hours.

I originally purchased this to use on the basement floors in the workspaces of my new home. After reading the reviews on the smell I opted to do clear epoxy in the basement. Since I bought this, I used it on my back concrete patio and front porch. I am very happy with the results! I used a 24" roller, and this product went on very well. However, even outside the smell was very strong. It would have been a huge mistake to use indoors. Grease from my smoker cleans up easily. Coverage was good. I have been about 10 months since installing and been through a summer and into the winter. No issues at all.

I have purchased the Cryli-Tek 5505-5 Solvent, again for the second time, because the look of the finished concrete and stamped cement sealing is just what we wanted. The gloss wet look is just perfect. The color gets a little darker after a few days - but this is what we wanted. The look is even better after it rains as the color stands out and it is obvious that you are looking at a sealed floor. I have purchased the 5 gallons as it makes financial sense when dealing with a large area (rather than purchasing by the gallon over and over when you realize you need more). The smell is strong when applying the sealer and is around for a few days. I have used a mask and the brush pole is long - These help a lot. Actually this strong smell helped keep insects away for a few days from my pool area which is a plus.

Purchased this sealer for 9 months old unsealed integral colored concrete. We lightly acid washed it as directed to get rid of the efflorescencing that had been a problem from the get-go. After sealing our concrete it looked pretty good at first, then round white spots began appearing in places about one week later. Also where control cuts had been made, there has been browning along these.

Sealer went on great and gave a nice finish. One thing to note is that it ate away at the internal seal in our Marshalltown sprayer rendering it useless. It might be best to just use a roller with this product. Also be sure to wear a respirator as this stuff is very potent and may make you light headed.
