It really works - Regular Car Tires
Someone slashed both front tires of my 2007 BMW 750Li side walls (each about 3/4 inch long). Followed instructions on the package and really sanded the puncture area extensively (made sure the puncture area surface all sanded and even). Applied the glue first on the punctured cut and then applied glue droplet using the narrow adapter provided with the kit (25 droplets per square inch). Placed the patch and pressed on it for about a minute and let it dry for about 3 hours. Tested both tires with soapy water and there were no leaks. This morning drove the car to HomeDepot to run chores and drove back (about 10 miles round trip) and had no problem at all. Will post additional feedback as the time goes on. But what I can say now is that this product is really amazing and it really works. Great product. UPDATE #1: It is almost a week after fixing the tires. No pressure loss of either two front tires as of today (27 Feb 2024). Drove about 20 miles round trip today and had no issues with the repaired tires. So far so good. UPDATE #2: Both front tires started leaking air after about 10 days. It appears that it is not a long term solution for fixing tires. Ordered more GlueTread glue only (pack of 3 for $6) and replaced a patch on on tire and re-glued it again and peeled of a part of second patch and added more glue. Will update again after a few test run.

What an invention works fantastic. Should have been invented years ago.

Great value, tough product
This works great on atv tires. Let us get another years use out of them. Easy to apply and never tore off even in rocky trails. Will definitely buy again.

Won't know until I need it!
But I am treating this like insurance. I hope I never have to use it, but feel better knowing I have something available just in case. If the sales pitches and videos I've watched are on the level, I think this will be well worth the money, will allow me to patch a leak or even a major puncture, and get the SXS back to camp. I like the resealable container for it's convenience and durability, and this appears to be a quality item. Fingers crossed that I never have to even open the bag!!

Best thing for a damaged sidewall
Ok, this might be a longer review, but hopefully this helps. My experience is coming from polaris turbo r 4 ultimate. I am running 35x10x15 inch tires that are DOT rated. The quality of the tire is subpar for my liking. They are a harder compound being that they are for street use. I was climbing up some ledges and sliced the sidewall of the tire. I did not use the patch to get back, I just switched to my spare and kept going. I got home and my wife was not really happy with me because the tires are almost new and they were a present for Christmas. I was going to buy a new set of tires almost immediately, but my wife asked me not til spring. So I tried figuring out what I could do to keep me riding in the mean time. I bought some tread glue hoping it will get me to spring. I did not trust patching the sidewall and I definitely was afraid to put my wife and kids in the machine with a patched sidewall until I was able to prove it out. Long story short I took it out to moab and did trails fins and things and hells revenge and I was not being easy on the machine. I took the hardest lines and usually hit it with speed to really test the patch. It handled it like a champ. I didnt peel the edges of the patch. The one thing I will say is I had a lot of time to prep the tire and make sure I gave it the best chance it had to succeed. I would probably not use the patch instead of a spare, unless I was not able to carry a spare or just didnt have one yet. The prep work can be semi tedious and you need to put the patch on a smooth surface. So you will have to sand off lettering and sidewall lugs. However, if you are trying to save a tire for a little bit until you get new ones this is the product for you. I am still hesitant to put my wife and kids in the machine with me on a very difficult trail. Nothing is safer then replacing the tires but this is definitely the next best thing.

Didn't work for me
Tried to patch a front riding mower tractor tire with this, but the tire was nicked at a spot where there was a slight crease in the rubber, maybe about 20 degrees. As such, the patch wouldn't stay clamped on the tire, and I had to pump air half way through mowing the lawn. And then the patch itself came completely off somewhere during the remaining mow. Probably works great for a puncture on a flat part of the tire, but it didn't work for me.

Works great
If you question this works I can tell you it absolutely does. I wasn't sure if I should buy it so I got the smaller kit for my Rzr, which is plenty, and applied it to a significant hole in my sidewall. It held air which I thought was great but the test was 50 miles in the mountains and I never lost any psi. Super impressed. Worth every penny!

Slows, Does Not Stop, A Leak
I had a clean slice in the sidewall of my zero-turn's tire. Followed the directions of the item exactly: Deflate tire. Clean area with soap and water. Sand the area to make sure the rubber is clean of any contamination and increase surface area for glue. Apply glue to the inside edges of the slice, and then press flat. Lay a patch over the area and trace with a marker. Inside the traced area, apply small dots of glue in a grid pattern. (More glue is not more better! Use less!) Apply the patch and hold firmly in place at least a minute. Walk away for an hour and re-inflate the tire. I still heard a hissing sound. Directions say if that didn't fix the leak, pry up the edge of the patch with a pair of pliers where you see the leak, and apply a touch more glue. Apply pressure again for another minute. Walk away for a half hour, and try inflating again. I re-inflate again. And still have a hissing sound. I tried inflating again just to gauge the air loss. Two pounds in an hour. While sitting completely still on my driveway. Could this patch let me keep using the tire and keep mowing? Sure. Do I feel like stopping every so often to top it off as I mow 11 acres? Absolutely not.

Glue was off
Glue was OFF so had to substitute with a generic superglue. Didn't work, as in patches leaked. Dont know if it is the glue or the process.

Works great on sidewalls, and way cheaper than a tire!
A cut on my lawnmowers rear sidewall had me upset. Didn't want to fork out for a new one since the tire still has a ton of life. Found this searching for sidewall repairs. Got it delivered same day! Read the easy to follow instructions and had at 'er. Aperfect repair! The patches (x4) aren't huge, and I pushed their limit on this repair, but it worked perfectly, and saved me a ton of cash. I'm getting more kits to put in the quads for sure!

Don't use in the UK, return cost too high
I was going to apply this patch to the tire side wall, which had a superficial scratch, for the short term. After reading more in to it, UK driving law would class the tire/car non-road worthy. I tired to see if I would get a refund but the return cost would be £20 plus more than what I paid for the product, so I had no choice but to keep it
