Orchestral Excerpts for Flute

Thought it came with a CD. I don’t have accompanist so that feature is wasted on me

I would recommend this book to anyone thinking of trying out for any kind of orchestra. It has a very comprehensive list of excerpts. I tried out for one recently and every flute excerpt they wanted was in this book. I only wish I had gotten it sooner! The program notes were very helpful. I highly recommend getting the cd with it because it gives you the perfect example of how it should be played.

This is a must have book for all flutists. This book includes all the excerpts that might be asked at an audition and it includes all of the major flute pieces. It also has a piano accompaniment for each one.

I really like this book, I am studying music in college and I think it is great. However I was disappointed that I never received the flute part. I only got the piano part in my shipment and It is far too small for me to try and practice out of.

The book gets 5 stars, but I was disappointed that it only came as a score instead of a score and a flute part separate. As expensive as the book is, it should come with both! Misleading, Amazon!

It's supposed to come with the flute part in addition to the piano. Missing the flute part.

Bought this for my nephew to practice for band and he loves it!

Granddaughter requested book and loves it. 17 year old flute player.
