KONG - SoftSeas Octopus L - (KONGRSF12E)

I bought this toy but very disappointed not cheap my dog tore it within hours and you pay more for Kong name I should of asked for refund

My dog had an octopus from a different make a few months ago which she loved. When it needed replacing I chose this one because previous Kong items had been excellent. This is no exception. The tentacles are slightly springy with a leather sort of material on the underneath part which seems to make them stronger. We have played with it almost every day since Christmas and it’s still like new. (My dog is a very energetic spaniel)

This lasted 30 mins with a leonberger. Absolutely fell to bits!

I bought one of these for my large lurcher who loves a cuddly toy especially if he can shake it and play tug with it . Even better if it squeaks ! He has been carrying it around for the last few days , it has survived being thrown round the garden and the legs (6 legs not 8 !!) are intact despite being tugged and chewed. Very sadly the squeak lasted approximately 2 hours only which is not the quality expected from Kong . My dog has several other Kong toys which have been more durable so I am a little disappointed - as is the dog who keeps chewing the head in the hope that it will squeak again ! It’s keeping him busy though and he looks really cute carrying it around .

We bought this KONG OCTOPUS for our family pet, a Yorkshire Terrier of 7kg. She has hardly left it alone since being presented with it. It is a tough doggy toy and one that has to go where we go. Last week I was taking my 6 year old daughter to school and of course Mr Octopod (as it is called) had to come with us. Our dog is very good at carrying her toys and it can be difficult to get her to part with them. Upon approaching the school a teacher was at the gates welcoming the children. When we got to the gates the teacher asked about Mr Octopod and after a brief explanation my daughter piped up and said, “mummy says he’s got long dangling tentacles, just like daddy”. At least I think that’s what she said,

No toy will stand up to a determined dog who likes to chew. Thankfully with the puppy teeth gone my dog seems to be happy not trying to destroy everything. And this octopus (is it though with less than enough tentacles?) seems to be a firm favourite. It is standing up well and I feel comfortable letting her take it to bed with her. Thanks Kong, I wouldn't buy any other brand.

It’s difficult to review this octopus as it only lasted about 3 minutes. Our dog (a ridgeback) absolutely loved it during that short time on Christmas morning, having destroyed and discarded another ‘tough’ toy about 10 minutes previously. I don’t mind at all that it failed to remain in one piece for long, as they joy for us is watching him meticulously tearing off the wrapping (yes we wrap his presents up, as it’s great fun to watch him take the paper off) and then place bets on how long it will take before the toy is in pieces all over the living room carpet. I bet 8 minutes and so lost out with this one, but that’s my only regret. This octopus is very cute to look at and has lovely crinkly legs and a great squeaker, ripe for extracting with lightning speed, but it isn’t made for dogs who love to rip up their toys. Or maybe it is, as he’s now carrying a leg around and looking very proud of himself. Well it is Christmas after all.

This octopus is very well made and adorable. So adorable I feel like keeping him for myself. My dog will love this toy with crinkly legs and a squeaker. It's the kind of soft toy my huge 7 stone rough Collie greyhound cross rescue dog Harley loves to snuggle up to and doesn't chew - fingers crossed. What a lovely toy that feels so nice and soft.

Très bien. Facile à poser, tient bien, efficace contre le soleil tout en laissant voir au travers. Correspond totalement à mes attentes.

Hund hat Spaß damit, wirkt bisher sehr robust und gut. War auch schon in der Waschmaschine ohne Probleme.

Ma chienne de trois mois et demi l'adore, du coup j'en ai commandé un autre car même si la peluche est solide, comme c'est son jouet préféré, nous ne sommes pas à l'abri d'un accident de crocs
