Working well as a part of a supercapacitor power bank.
Bought these to make a super capacitor jump starter box. Problem is that I'm saving the project for later this winter when I start getting bored from the cold keeping me shut in a bit. These arrived quickly and look decent enough so I'll give em the benefit of the doubt for now. I'll come back and post an update, either way after I use them.

They work, be mindful of current and how much power you expect these to dissipate.
Wish they had indicator lights to show when the are actively dumping charge. I was charging up a bank and didnt realize I had my constant current cranked up. These things get hot and I am just glad I was nearby and could see the current meter jumping around as these have no visual indication of when they are at voltage. I will be adding an led across the bleed resistors and hopefully 2.5v will be enough to light a small red led. if not, I will have to probe the circuit a bit more to find a way to add an indicator so I dont destroy my caps or these boards.

Do these work as claimed?
I bought one set of these protection boards and soldered them into two sets of three 500 Farad supercapacitors in series. After charging one set of three in series to 6.6 volts I noticed that the voltage across each capacitor was widely different from the others (2.6, 1.7 and 2.1 volts). So I tested each capacitor with its protection board with a constant current Of 0.2 amps and watched all of them exceed 2.5 volts in turn. I stopped each test after reaching 2.6 volts so as not to damage the capacitors. I am returning these and am waiting for a replacement set. I wonder if I received a bad set or if they never work? Does anyone else have a different experience? Since there is no product support I am left to my own experiments. There isn’t anyone to ask if my test is not a valid test!

Voltage Bypass was right at 2.7V for charge current over 0.5A
They seem to add leakage current until capacitor discharges down to approx. 2.4V, but their bypass is soft until capacitor charge voltage reaches approx. 2.7V They should work okay in a six capacitor series bank for 12V automotive use.

płytka ochronna super kondensatorem, 2,5-V
Dostawa szybka i zgodnie z terminem.
