Awesome Boots
I've been wearing these boots daily for about 2 1/2 years now. I have worked in them, hiked in them, and just worn them as my general footwear nonstop. For the price they can't be beat. Mine are pretty worn and scuffed by this point and they're STILL incredibly comfortable boots. They seem waterproof, I honestly don't know if they're advertised as such but it's never been a problem for me. They do get marked up pretty easy if you wear them regularly but they're very comfortable all day. As for aesthetically, they give that combat boot appearance without being high top boots. Seem to support the ankle well. No problems with the zipper or velcro. My right boot has a tear in the inside in the back but it causes me no problems. Been there a while, so be warned about that possibility but I don't baby them at all, I'm quite rough with them and don't untie them to take them off. I just unzip and slip them right off so it's bound to happen from the friction. You'll probably be fine if you're not as lazy as I am lol. By this point the insole is a bit warn and they're not as comfortable to wear all day as they once were, but really not by much. They're still surprisingly comfortable after almost 3 years of daily wear, and a new insole would solve that. Either way, the boots themselves are a great price and as long as they keep making them I'll never wear another boot.

Five stars all day to these boots
This is my second purchase (first pair lasted a year with daily wear and was still useable when I donated them to goodwill) These boots served me like a soldier with nothing for maintenance except daily shoe tree insertion and the occasional 4000psi power wash Never had any traction problems on all types of wet and dry surfaces They are not waterproof but not too bad with holding back water Feet feel substantially cooler in theses suede/textile boots than an all leather or synthetic/rubberized/pvc type They are light and comfortable with no toe protection and the laces are beefy and tough with abrasions These boots survived and thrived where I live now like no other pair I have owned even at thrice the pricepoint This is what I mean in detail: florida climate(feet are always hot and sweaty) brutal daily abuse from residential contractor work(masonry-carpentry-electrical-plumbing-roofing-drywall-landscaping-tile) frequent water intrusion from rain or work frequent contact with caustic material (wet concrete-redguard-muriatic acid-thinset-grout-caulk-wood and metal shavings-blacktop-welding sparks) They dont squeak creak bunch or pinch with no rips or tears or sole separation and this after 11 months of daily abuse The stock insoles were replaced with leather shock reducing ones as soon as I got them and after that all I worried about was keeping them dry and odor free Really surprised me that for under 50 bucks my feet were worry free for a year (I probably could have stretched another year out of them if need be) Sizing was realistic -I ordered my usual size and fit was perfect I really love these boots and often wear them outside of work because they are not clunky or industrial looking with a huge toebox They actually look good with a pair of jeans or khakis

Very good boots for Peace Officers.
I’m a civil servant and I have owned a pair of these boots for the last 7 months, I loved them. They fit well they are comfortable and they are strong for my tasks. Fairly water proof and the zipper NEVER BROKE! My last pair of boots were Men's 8" Thorogood Side Zipper Work Boots and they lasted me about 3 years when I bought these in February I thought they would last at least a year unfortunately these boots failed right at 7 months from purchase. That kind of hurt my feelings. But I will say for the money they are pretty darn good I just wish there was something they could do to make them last longer. I will be purchasing these again but I wish I could insure them so when they fail in under 1 year they can be replaced. Or at least partially paid for.

Very comfortable from the start
Very comfortable from the very first day, these boots broke in quickly and my feet never got sore during the break-in period. I really like the bigger toe box on these, most tactical boots I have tried have a smaller toe box and rub the top of my toes the first few weeks causing extreme pain until they are broken in, the larger toe box on these made it so this was not an issue. The materials these boots are made out of seem a little lighter and less quality than the other boots I have used over the past few decades, but at the price point I wasn't expecting top of the line materials. I'll see how well they hold up over regular use, and update my review if there are issues with the quality that affects the life of the boot. Overall, for the price point, they are much better than I expected. Hoping they work out well and last a while.

Not water resistant or slip resistant
Wasn't the best boot I ever purchased. The laces are not easy to lace up. The holes do not go all the way through for lace up, so I had to use a drill to make some of the eyelets bigger so the lace would go through. The boots are not comfortable wearing on rough terrain, and even though they claim to be water resistant and slip resistant. They are not. Very dangerous boot to wear anywhere there is wet or slippery surfaces. I would recommend buying duty boots from an actual EMT/Fire Fighter store, like Galls.

Great hiking/work boots
Got these boats because I liked the style and I needed a new pair of work/hiking/outdoor boots. I am rough on them a pair usually last about a year. My last pair ($180 carbon fibber toe, not these) have made it to almost 3 years but I have not worn them for a little over 2 so they probably would not have made it the full year. I do not see in paying $100 plus for a pair of boots that will only last a year. The cheapest pair I could find at the boot store was $85 (The ugliest pair and the quality they may have lasted 3 months) Royal King cheapest pair was $120 all good quality. Received these and they fit perfectly and appear to be made with the quality of a pair of boots that cost 2 to 2.5 times these do. I have abused them first 2 days I got them, digging in the clay and rocks to dig up a septic tank. Spent one day in the rain and mud digging. Have been on one 1 mile hike trough the woods and trails near my house. They have kept my feet dry and once the mud dried and brushed off they still look like the day I received them. I believe that these are going to make it a year or more. Will update if they don't make it. Again great quality for the price so far I am impressed.

Good so Far
Comfy straight out of the box and after a 3.7 mile walk still issue free. Lightweight, look the part, but time will tell on longevity. They are warm though, ideal for Winter/Autumn but may be too warm for summer. Another one to report back on later. Thus far, I like them. April 25, and the boots are holding up well. My No1 go to pair, comfy and remarkably don't appear to get stains or marks. Very pleased I need.
