Never expected to leave review on this, but my weapons course instructor advised us to get ourselves POM as less-lethal alternatives to carrying a firearm. Last night I was at a bar with my wife and female friend. Two aggressors were verbalizing and being threatening. I kept the girls behind me and vocalized that they were making us uncomfortable. Verbally deescalating very well, giving them distance (we backed up backwards for an entire block) before they started attempting to attack me. I sprayed the first aggressor who INSTANTLY hunched over and started trying to clear his eyes. (Worked nearly instantly as advertised—i’m beyond shocked how fast the reaction time was, i’m talking literally INSTANTLY started working). Second aggressor was sprayed shortly after getting my female friend out of the way and she surprisingly did not catch any of the overspray. Unfortunately, the aggressor did not react to POM until nearly 10-15 seconds after. After, he was crouched over on the sidewalk tearing and unable to attack us. I even got it on video but for the privacy of the aggressors, I will not upload it. I immediately called 911 to protect myself legally and to ensure first aid was rendered to the individuals and my victims. In case you aren’t aware - IANAL, 1. POM’s actuation is a lid that flips on hinges. PRACTICE sliding your thumb to the button to familiarize yourself with quick deployment of POM. 2. Spray and move: back up as you’re spraying to ensure you don’t catch some of your own particles. 3. Call 911 to make sure a report is either filed or police is notified. Just to make sure you don’t just spray and disappear and they call police and you get accused. Clip quality is cool. Ease of carrying is also cool. Safety is cool. Ease of use was clearly cool too. Cool pepper spray brand, did its job. Why the second aggressor did not respond to spicy spray instantly, I do not know. But it worked on both. Resort to pepper spray before ever considering using lethal means. Stay safe and God bless.

This is the perfect size to put in my running belt! I was more concerned with wild animals than wild humans! Got this to be able to pull out quickly from my running belt in case of an attack on one of my 10-12 mile runs and it is perfect. Small and compact, yet powerful and easy to use. Well done 👏 👏 👏

Bought these for my friend and I one for her keys and one for me as a less lethal option, so far so good. the look and feel very well made. The safety on it seem very good to prevent it going off when you dont want it to, but also seem very easy to use when you might need it. The clip and key ring feel solid and seems like a great value for the money. Ive seem some reviews of people saying they have had to use this many time, thankfully and god willing myself or her will never need it but its a great piece of mind knowing its there.

I love this product and I'm only giving it 4 stars because they sent me the wrong color but other than that I appreciate the durability and ease of use of the product

Yes, very Pleased with this product. Be aware, this is a TWO pack. Flip top design makes it impossible to accidentally discharge. Perfect jacket or vest pocket size, but for me, a little too big for a keychain. One thing many people may not know is that pepper spray does have an expiration date. Over time the chemical loses strength and the propellent power weakens. POM is rated for four years from date of manufacture. Pull off the bottom plastic sleeve to see the exp date on the canister bottom. Once expired, you run the risk of loss of effectiveness, reduced spraying power, or worse, it not working at all when you need it most. Make a point to replace it around or just before expiration. Upon delivery, mine was rated for about 4 years and 5 months before expiration. I did the math; at the price I paid, that equates to about (or slightly less than) one tenth of a cent per day in cost. Mighty reasonable price for insurance in a pocket. Also, it will expire sooner if kept in a vehicle in hot weather, making the case that it should be carried on the person, not in the car. Stay safe. Be prepared. Remain alive.

The pocket clip is somewhat fragile but the product works great. I never leave home without it. My pocket clip broke off but I informed POM and they sent out a replacement right away.

Bought for my wife and daughter. These things are great and easy to spray. No fumbling about. Quick flip up with the thumb to get beneath the safety and then just press it in. Hopefully it’s never needed! But definitely good to have. They feel much more comfortable running errands with these in their pockets. Comes with an easy to attach key chain rings, you won’t rip a thumbnail to peices attaching it to your keychain
