Review: This is for people who want to read all of Poe's work. - This is one of the few physical copies of an E.A. Poe book that has the short story "The Assignation," which is by far my favorite. But, it's not a popular story, so it's hard to find in a Poe collection. Not only that, but this book also has most, if not all, of Poe's work. The book itself is not flashy looking, but I think it's pretty, and it feels well made in the hand without being so heavy and bulky it's hard to hold. It's a nice purchase, and in my opinion, it's the best example of a Poe book for those who simply want to read Poe, as opposed to something that looks super good on a shelf (and again, this one IS good looking, just not as flashy as other less filled-out volumes I've seen). Review: Gorgeous Edition! - This is an absolutely gorgeous edition of Poe stories and poems! Beautiful
This review is only based off of the physical stuff. I have not yet read the book or fully gone through it, except to notice that they are zero illustrations, which is very sad. I wouldโve liked to see some beautiful illustrations for the stories. The font on this book is not small. It is standard fonts that I have seen used in a lot of the books that I buy it. Anyone complaining must have low vision. I am beyond in love with the cover, the feel of it, and the look of it. I also love that it had its own bookmark built in this keeps me from having to buy any bookmarks. Also, the quality of the paper is just fine. Anyone complaining is just too rough.

The Whole Poe!
I wanted one book with Poeโs works. The book seems solid, and functional, but itโs nothing fancy. It will sit on a shelf with other books so I did not pay for a decorative or fancy cover and gilded pages. The print is small, but it must be, I guess, to get all his works in one cover. I think it is a good value.

Leather bound would be cooler, but hey, for the price . . .
Solidly bound book. Excellent selection of most of Poe's work. Leather bound with gold embossed title would be more in keeping with Poe's oeuvre, of course, but the cover is only slightly hokey. As a fashi8on accessory, the book isn't too embarrassing to be seen with if you decide to play melancholic intellectual at your local coffee shop.

Beautifully thread bound, all the tales and poems. This is the best version.
This is a beautiful book. It contains all of the stories, and all of the Poems, so your favorite is here, whether it's "The pit and the pendulum", "The raven", "The gold bug", "Lenore", "The tell-tale heart", The fall of the house of Usher", and on and on.. (73 tales-49 poems).. The introduction is an excellent overview of the life of Poe, and not over-written. A chronology of important moments in Poe's life is at the end of the book as well. So its contents are 5 out of 5. The book itself is extremely well bound. It's thread bound (see photo), and not fully glued, like a lot of "hardback" books which are just mass paperback glued, with hard covers.. The paper is very high quality, smooth and soft white, strong with some see-through, but considering nearly 900 pages, in a book that's very easy to hold, and very readable, it's excellent quality. The covers are embossed with silver highlights, it has a nice ribbon marker, it opens fully flat, with zero obscuring of text close to the spine, the cover opens initially (front and back cover), on a lovely Purple swirl effect initial/final card page. The text is relatively small, but very readable and the typeset is excellent, for context, I am nearing 50, without glasses, but I feel coming close to needing them; and I can read this book in good light fairly comfortably. I, like a lot of you, was looking for a well made, and well stocked, single volume of Poe's works, that included his tales and poems, without feeling anything I wanted was missing; and this volume is perfect. There is no need whatsoever to doubt (again) if this is the right volume, instead of that one, or the other......it definitely is!

Classics and more!
While Iโm very much familiar with Poeโs classic stories and poetry, itโs so nice to have the complete works of his. This includes so many pieces of his works that I have not even heard of, and that I cannot wait to read. No issues with the binding in my copy, or the format of the pages, everything looks and feels perfect! The ribbon to keep your page is an elegant plus as well. Love the cover artwork and also the fact that this book is a hardcover! I canโt wait to dive in to this!

Content :73 tales + 50 poems Bookmark : attached ribon ( that is longer than the book so its not just for show ) Text size : standard( i comapred with a penguin classics book ). In the picture, it can look small but thats only because the page is big and has a lot of words . Page quality:soft on touch ( not reflective (glossy) or too thick ) Looks : looks really beautiful from the outside with standard hardcover , also pages r sewed in so safe to say , i dont think so they'll get lose or come out . The book is STUNNING. Portable: its a lil heavy and big to be traveling everyday with .. hence, not an ideal commute-read Worth the money? : considering its hard to find Poe's books in cheap bookmarkets ..YES WORTH THE MONEY. But if it was some other common author ( someone you can find in bookmarkets) ..id say no .. because its similar to buying 4-5 books for โน250 each. Possible issue : if you have a strong issue with even the slightest transparency in pages then do consider that u can find the pages to be too thin
