Our Cat is a Fiend for These! One Caveat!!!
If your cat is like ours, you may want to use some utility shears and cut these up into manageable pieces. The first time we gave some to him he tried to swallow it whole! The reaction to these was unforgettable yet hilarious. Our cat Gao is a super sweet little baby boy. But when he got his paws on these, it was the first time his name had meaning, because he was GROWLING! He ran away with it and was acting like we were going to take it away from him. We had never seen him behave like that. He thought he was a wild cat that had made a kill! Unfortunately, we had to take it away from him because he was trying to swallow the whole thing. I was literally afraid to give them to him again, but tried it today after cutting it up into pieces. He did chew it some but still swallowed it all in one shot. So these will be something he can only have once in a while. The caveat: I would recommend learning how to do the Heimlich Maneuver in your pet before giving this to them. They’re not meant to be swallowed whole, but are to be enjoyed and chewed. That will never happen with our Gao Chan. He is a true fiend for these! Apparently they’re the best thing he has ever had!

1 out of 2 cats LOVE
My 2 year old cat absolutely loves these chicken necks. These are her favorite treats out of an assortment that she has. She does not mind chewing on the whole neck. These are great for helping clean cats teeth and stimulating for them. She becomes so excited when I give her one. There are not a lot in the bag and they only lasted me roughly about a month but I would give her probably two a week. My older cat who is 10 prefers softer foods and was not crazy over the chicken necks. She left it whenever I would give it to her and did not like putting in the work for it. I do love these though because I can rarely find the time to brush my kitties teeth so I wanted to find natural chews to help them. These worked perfectly for my younger cat

Bad bag, nothing but fat. Next order, bag was expired
Purchase this for a kitten who started teething. Only tried 'Raw Paws' since the price per ounce was a little cheaper than 'Fresh is Best'. 1st Purchase: No issues. Took my kitten a few days to get used to his first chicken neck, but after that he loved it and would go crazy for another one. 2nd purchase - Bad batch/fatty meat: I place my second order a few weeks later which I consider it a bad batch. Cat refused to eat it. After the 2-3rd attempt I noticed it was because the entire bag was full of fatty meat (see screenshot), which I believe its an issue with chicken farms in the USA as I have experienced the same with other chicken products by Tyson. Although I give the product a two star, I would give the company a 4-5 star. A very sweet lady returned my call and she handled it well. She truly showed she cared. She also didnt make excuses like some companies would. Honestly, not 100% if I would try this product again. 3rd/final purchase - expired bad: Im a big supporter of small businesses and figured I would give them another try 9 months later. In hopes of preventing a re-occurrence of my bad batch/fatty order, after placing my order, I went as far as emailing them with my order # and asking if they could check the bag before shipping it. After 2-3 days, I noticed that my cat was very hesitant and completely avoided it. After checking further I noticed that the bag I received was expired a week prior. When I emailed a screenshot to Raw Paws Pet asking if it was a concern, their response was that the lot # shows that the expiration date was a typo and that the bag actually expires in 12 months and that the bag is still good. I literally have tried giving this to my cat in 3-4 occasions and every time he is avoiding it. I admit, it even smells weird (not like the typical dried necks). Sorry Raw Paws Pet - "fool me once, shame on you. Food me twice, its fool on me!" - Im removing this from my subscriptions and will not be trying this again!

A purrfect treat
My Devon Rex loves it! He eats anything though lol. Maybe break this into pieces if your pet is struggling. Even soften it up in some water but it keeps mine quiet and busy so this is purrfect! Size is perfect for my cat and it smells fine.

What an expensive product.
I really think that these dog food products are so ridiculously expensive. They are milking on the fact that there are really caring dog moms and dads out there. Is the product good because it is freeze dried, I am sure it is because it is freeze dried and from what I have read, this method preserves the nutrients vs serving cooked food. Did my dog eat them? Yes he did. Was he super excited about them? Meh. BUT THIS EXPENSIVE? WHY? Chicken necks are sold for pennies. They are literally trash for humans. Who eats chicken necks? So I went out to a grocery store and bought a pack of 2lbs chicken necks for less than $ 3.00. I do not have a freeze drier obviously....but I have a dehydrator. I used it and dehydrated the necks. My dog loves them. They might not be as nourishing as freeze dried necks but much more economical. I got almost 30 chicken necks for $ 3.00 vs 15 chicken necks for $15.00. I mean you do the math.

Great at First - Disappointed Thereafter
While my cat absolutely devoured the first pack I got of these the second and third she has been noticeably reluctant to eat. She never finished the second pack, and we’re working on the third to see if there are different results. She seems to just nibble at a stick over the course of two weeks whereas at fist she would eat an entire stick in 30 seconds.

Picky dog LOVES them
As you can see from the video, Willie absolutely loves them. In the past, she would take the treat but go drop it somewhere and leave it. This was not the case when she had the first one. She came speed backing in and was so excited about possibly getting another she jumped up and put her paws on the table to look for them. She is a whippet and due to her mouth shape, larger treats/food is hard for her to chew. These are soft enough that she doesn’t have any issues.
