I saw one of these in the cemetery. I knew my great grandmother would have loved it, so now she has one as well.

I had purchased these to put by my moms headstone. They didn’t work at all! Not solar not with batteries. I was really bummed out due to hummingbirds were my moms favorite.

I saw one of these last winter while staying in a RV resort park in Arizona. Thought that I had to have one too. I at first displayed it stuck in a qt milk jug that I had cut the top off and filled with gravel. I felt there had to be a better way to display it so I came up with the idea of drilling a rock and adding some cheap flowers to go a long with it. I’ve go two of these setup to display next winter next to our RV. 7/16/2020 Update been about a month and still working fine. One of my Hummingbirds was bought back in January of this year. One thing I’ve noticed is that they do need direct sunlight to work. Cloud comes over and they all shut down. Sun off at an angle they won’t work. I find myself adjusting them to keep them in direct sunlight.

They are so cute, I sometimes get fooled by them when looking out the window.

It’s a cute item, but it only worked for a couple days. It’s under direct sunlight and it’s still not working.

Have only had them a couple hours, but work great so far, even with battery in the house

Three out of four of the hummingbirds work. They are very fragile and one of them had it's wire coming out in a different direction from the stake when taking it out of the box. As a result, the bird looks like it's flying in a very awkward way. They do not fly constantly. Because of the weight of the bird, it seems the solar energy has to build up for it to fly around for a short time and then it stops while the solar energy charges again.

Seems to work for a short time on solar and then quit working! Battery function works but the whole idea was to have a solar based item which you would not have to turn on and off with a switch!! Initially fun item which does not stand the test of time.

This is really cheap and not worth the money. They have been used for 2 days and already one does not work at all and the other one only by battery. Would not recommend buying them.

Update: one stopped working after only 2 weeks. So disappointing. Returning. Super cute!! Happy they were both yellow. They really fly when the wind hits them. Only on SUN setting. Didn’t put a battery in. Only trick is to keep them level or they get stuck. Hope they keep working!
