The entire kit is very well made and contains everything someone would need to get started and have fun magnet fishing, all in a sturdy, convenient case.

This turned out to be a surprisingly helpful purchase.... I have a long deep water pier and boat that always seems to need some kind of maintenance. Over the years, I've dopped a tool or two and always struggled to retrieve the item with a net, with varying degrees of success. I decided to give this a try. First off, its a very nicely manufactured item in a very nice storage box. The magnet itself is very well machined and finished. Its quality is excellent. It comes with a long nicely braided rope with attached carabiner (did I spell that right?). It also comes with a small bottled of thread-lock, gloves and a small grappling hook. And goodness, this magnet is strong. I do worry that if I ever inadvertently attached it to the side of a flat metal cabinet that I might not be able to get it off. The great news for me is that within a week after receiving the magnet it helped me retrieve a small flagpole and a tiny AC power connecting bracket that fell in the water. The cost saved (and more importantly, the time saved) more than paid for the magnet.

Bought this to augment some other magnets I have. The magnet seems well built and I've set this up as a double sided orientation (for dragging). The case is nice and adequate. The only thing I didn't like from this kit is the line and carabiner they provide. I wouldn't trust either. The carabiner felt as flimsily as it looked. The line was (and still is) super stiff which makes handling difficult and will kink and bind up easily. Get quality replacements for both.

Super strong and not great for magnetic fishing. Ive had to tie off to my truck to pull it off of heavy things under water.

Bought my son and grandson each one of these and they have had the best time with them! Great quality, zero complaints., Everything you need comes with it! I will be buying another for my other grandson!

Bien que je trouve l'aimant faible, j'ai acheter l'article pour pouvoir déprendre nos leurres lors de pêche en réservoirs. J'ai pu remonter, avec le crochet, un arbre de 15 pieds de long dans 10 pieds d'eau pour y décrocher mon leurre qui y était pris. Il convient pour les amateurs qui cherchent à remonter de petits article des fonds de rivieres et lacs.

This magnet is terrible! I'm sorry but for the money it's not worth it pay a bit more and buy the beast magnet in stead if u need to get anything out of the river we magnet fish all the time and my son wanted the purple one but that's it's only selling point! It will attach to things but no way it will lift it out! We need to use beast for that the extent this magnet will actually lift is bottle caps pennies and nails a few bolts but anything heavier forget it! Please don't waste your money on this magnet I wish I hadn't as now they all fight over the beast but I'm disabled so it's something I enjoy with my grown kids but very expensive if u have little money coming in as it is so now saving for another beast but if u are serious magnet fishers then don't waste money on inferior magnets like this one and go for 360 if u can?

We love this magnet fishing set. Highly recommend. Works great. Has the option for top and side mount. Strong enough for our needs. People find it neat and ask alot of questions. Very happy with this purchase
