Great reel for the money we will see how it holds up in Salt water i bought 2 Where is the paperwork, parts list,warranty?

This Spinning Reel is gorgeous. Tempo has done a great job with the Apex's design. My ownly concern is amount of effort it takes to turn the reel. Granted it is a 6:2:1 Gear Ratio but the reel seemed well greased and oiled also. Comparing similar products from Large brands, I would like to see Tempo work on the amount of friction produced during active reeling. Thank You!! Still gonna remain in my arsenal as a smallmouth bass catchin machine;) Would and will recommend The Tempo Apex Spinning Reel.

Look like quality product. But my luck first new series Apex drag not working had to be return. Order a second Apex they ship me a Sphera, return for a replacement they still ship me a Sphera which return again. Saw they have Apex 1000 on sale for ~$25 ordered 2. Received one working well and very smooth. The second Apex seem don’t want to turn. Return for a replacement and got another better spinning but still some resistance. Not sure if these are refurbished? Could be a 4 or 5 if the experience was better w the service and quality control. Maybe for $25 on sale is what you get.

Received the fishing reel in a timely manner. Used the fishing reel yesterday and it worked like a charm.

Heavy wire bail makes for easy click turnover, smooth drag, ,10 bearings provide silky smooth retrieve , you could spend more money and get a reel with metal frame vs composite, likewise other parts could be of hirer grade material. However, the performance of this reel mimics reels idouble this price range.

The bail will slam shut about 50% of the time when casting. Extremely aggravating especially when it’s your last shrimp and the trout bite is on! Like yesterday, that’s why I am returning the reel and buying another shimano

Not what I thought it would be. Heavier than any other reel I own. Not worth the money spent.

I initially bought a 2000 size but returned it though it had everything it claimed. The cost was $60. There was ghost customer service with Amazon and Tempo both and no adequate paper work. About a year later, the price had fallen to $39.95 for the 2000 which I bought. The 1000 with the American Express points and 20% discount was about $29.95 and I bought that also. The contact with Tempo I have found impossible. I assume Jimmy Hoffa is the Customer Service manager. They both look and feel great and I am going to keep them. Now they have a Tempo Apex Plus with the exact same specs but with an increased $30 price tag. The Apex Plus is item number m-apex 1000. I have apex 1000. The description is exactly the same. If you can buy them for what I paid I would. No parts spools with no resale value.
