Tbh I was concerned these would turn up broken or cracked being glass. But the seller packaged these terrariums with thick card board, bubble wrap and packing paper and inside another box. Arrived in perfect condition. Lovely tanks and perfect for my terrestrial tarantulas. Many thanks.

I got one of these from a shop for my first scorpion and its an ok little starer set up. But honestly you will need to buy extras and that can make this little expensive for what you actually get. Id day its not the best value for money The Cork Bark is way too small for my intended use so I bought bigger ones else where. The little water bowl is ok and glows but again I bought a separate one that looked more natural and a little bigger. Theres definitely not enough substrate included regardless of what species is going in here. Its not suitable for a Mantis even though theres one on the box so please dont put a mantis in here! These contents are better for a top up on smaller terrariums. The terrarium itself is excellent, it has a section for wires to go inside the lid, theres ample space for a heat mat and the mesh lid is great for terrestrial animals such as scorpions or vinegaroons, centipede or smaller millipedes etc. Theres also a pin lock which is reassuring to prevent escapees! Definitely a nice terrarium and if I could buy it on its own without the contents then I would so I can have matching set ups for my pets Unfortunately the second one I was sent had broken in transit so I had to return.

Amazing little starter kit. I house millepedes in mine and they are doing great. All you need is a heat mat to get started.

My daughter has 3 of these tanks now housing a Mexican red knee tarantula, a curly hair tarantula and a black asin scorpion. Only complaint, the price dropped by £30 a week after I bought >:(

Got this to upgrade my Little Kenyans’ enclosure. They were in a standard 5.5 gallon aquarium (with a custom acrylic and fine mesh screen lid) which was adequate but the height was wasted space for terrestrial insects and inconvenient for my current shelving setup. This is much better. Just about doubled the floor-space for them, and the lower height fits a lot better for me. The lid is okay. Designed for keeping reptiles in though, not bugs. I stopped up the cord access hole with a little hot glue (used a craft “popsicle” stick to dam the glue until it cooled and keep it from running down and interfering with the lid closing). I don’t think the males can fit through the small gap around the lid and the youngsters and females can’t climb glass. However, all of them can climb the enrichment, like the live plants, which could eventually give them access to the screen or any gaps. I’ll be replacing the screen with acrylic in the future. As well as possibly “snugging up” the fit of the lid, maybe with a thin layer of silicone or tape of some kind. Until then, I’ve painted a line of petroleum jelly along the upper, inside rim of the glass to prevent any escapes. Overall, I’m happy with this. It came with a 1qt bag of substrate, small half-round piece of cork bark, thermometer, and a food dish (that glows in the dark). All good starters, but for most pets, you’ll need at least 2 more quarts of substrate and a lot more enrichment than just that little cork hide. I saved that cork for future tarantula spiderling enclosures and reused the cork from the previous vivarium. I also added 2-3 quarts of my own substrate mix to the bag that came with this. The plants are Pothos.

I have bought 10 of these already, they are perfect for mature terrestrial tarantulas who no longer burrow. I keep mature female rosehairs & Brazilian blacks in them & juvenile Ts that I can still add 5 inches of substrate for burrowing in. The enclosure is sturdy, secure and is great for viewing. Easy access for maintenance & lots of room for hides & decor to make your tarantula feel secure. I've never had one get its feet stuck in the mesh because the holes are so small & it has excellent ventilation. It is kind of shallow so wouldn't work well for fossorials who like to burrow deep & you'll have to watch humidity closely for high humidity species because the vast ventilated top dries it out quicker but otherwise it has fit my spiders' needs perfectly.

Arrived with glass shattered, went through the return process and the return terrarium was also broken.
