Walker Edison Twin Roll-Out Trundle Bed Frame only with Wheels, Black

Great trundle. I agree with other reviews that this is a well thought out design. Many other trundles have weak metal bars that are spaced too widely. This one has a sturdy bar every 2.5-3 inches which provides a nice support for a memory foam mattress. The addition of all the plastics pieces help keep the bars in the correct position without shifting. Other reviews mentioned that the plastic rectangular clips are extremely difficult to put in and required a wrench/torque. We had no issues, they went in very easily by hand. Take note that if the plastic piece is upside down it will require force. If it doesn’t go in easily, flip the piece around. Easy assembly and requires no experience. My 9 year old helped.

The bed does come in pieces and you do have to put everything together, but the tools needed to do that is included in the packaging. The assembly is easy enough that if you can put together a Billy bookshelf from Ikea or know how to bake a cake from a boxed package you should not have any trouble getting this thing together. A couple of pointers: 1. make sure you have enough room to get this thing together. I assembled the bed in the location that I use the bed and it worked fine, but if that space were smaller I would have had to construct the bed somewhere else. 2. Pay attention to how the pieces are shown in the instructions. The bed definitely has an up-side and a down-side (the wheels go on the down side). I can see how someone could easily get some of the pieces together up-side-down if they weren’t careful. Other than that, the bed is strong enough to hold at least 300 lbs and uses a twin size mattress. An adults could sleep on this bed without trouble. I didn’t find the bed uncomfortable, but some people could have trouble getting up considering the bed holds the mattress about 3 inches off the ground. I would definitely buy this bed again.

This is a sturdy, fairly easy to assemble trundle bed. Works great! Rolls easily and isn't too high. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars were some plastic secure pins which were a bit hard to push in. You need some strong fingers for help.

Absolutely love this item/product. I live in Hawaii and it arrived in a week! Plus I am trying out amazon prime and shipping was free! Talk about "amazed!" It came in a small box! Not long or awkward like I expected it too. Super easy to put together. All the tools came with it with extra parts. Me and my 12 year old put it together in no more than 20 mins! And it was durable material that definitely served its purpose. Fit right under my twins bunk bed and now everyone has a bed🤗One happy mama!!

I ordered the twin trundle. The INSIDE frame length (mattress drops into frame as pictured) measures 70.75" . A standard twin mattress length is 74.5". There's simply NO WAY to squeeze a 74.5 inch mattress into a 70.75" metal frame. After receiving I noticed this same complaint from many customers posting reviews. Other customers reported using a twin mattress with ease, which means this must be a manufacturer quality control problem with a variety of frame lengths being sent out. Unfortunately, the bed frame I received was wrong sized, which is frustrating.

I just put this together - so easy! Everything fit perfect, easy to follow instructions, all pieces were there - always a plus! I bought this to be able to add easy access, extra sleeping space without having to resort to an airbed. I am going to have a plywood piece (or something similar) cut to place on the frame for extra support though. I have ordered (but yet to receive) a 5" memory foam mattress to use on this frame. This way, I can keep the bed made up in advance for a no fuss roll out. I'll post again once the bed is completely set up but for right now, the frame is just what I expected.

I ordered this to go under my standard twin bed (an old fashioned bed which has legs further apart than typical bed frames, so this would fit underneath). It's very sturdy and functions well. But. And that is a HUGE but. This thing was the BIGGEST pain in the butt to put together. ..and I've put together a lot of IKEA furniture in my life, so I know what it's like putting tons of tiny pieces together. This frame came with these zillion little tiny plastic squares that you have to snap into the frame. Halfway through I was cursing up a storm, had a hammer out, and my fingers were raw and practically bleeding. These things don't just "snap" into the frame, as they are supposed to. Using lethal force and praying and cursing at the same time, then getting mad and slamming the whole thing with a hammer is the only thing that seemed to help. I love the show Burn Notice, and was actually thinking that putting this trundle frame together would be a great torture mechanism for those spies. I'm ready to spill deep dark secrets half way through just to not have to finish putting this thing together. Really though, it was literally painful to put together, and I would never, ever want to do this again. Good thing it works. and was a good price.

This is great! I redid my daughter's bedroom, and she didn't want a bunk bed, but still wanted to be able to have sleepovers. This tucks away (I put one of the Costco roll-up foam mats on it, fits perfectly) and rolls out easily when she has a friend over. Super handy. Also makes a great hiding spot for the cat.

Yes, the Trundle bed came in a fair number of parts, however, everything went together effortlessly. It took less than an hour to leisurely assemble the unit. It has proven to be very sturdy and easy to use. We are extremely happy with our purchase.
