Bought when we got a pizza stone to grill our pizzas. Love that the handle comes off as it is easier to store. It slides under the pizza easily to get it off the pizza stone. I haven’t used it to transfer a pizza onto the stone yet. The pizza cutter cuts well. Both are easy to clean. Both have held up well.

This pizza peel is a good size, although the flange that is threaded to receive the handle intrudes on it somewhat. The flange is very sturdy. The front edge is 16" wide. The front of the handle flange is 11.75" from the front of the peel. I suppose a person could use the peel upside down if they needed a bit larger area. I have read in other reviews of metal peels that they don't allow the pizza to slide as easily as do wood peels, but I generally use parchment under my pizzas so this shouldn't be a problem. I saw comments in another review about the blue plastic that the aluminum peel is protected with, but none of the current reviews show this, so I'm not sure what's going on there. I'm sure that the aluminum probably arrives in the factory as big sheets with the plastic covering on each side. The blade is then stamped from the sheet aluminum. The plastic was removed from the area of the flange before the flange was attached, but not from the other side, so a little plastic remains under the rivet heads after the plastic is peeled from the metal. Of course, being aluminum, the peal scratches easily. My main complaint is about the middle portion of the handle. The female threads in the metal coupling were not turned deeply enough into the coupling, so when you go to thread the last portion of the handle, you cannot tighten it all the way on. The male threaded rod is about an inch long, and there is more than a 1/8" gap between it and the female coupling when it is tightened all the way. Clearly there are some issues with quality control. If I have the right size tap I will probably try to cut the threads a little deeper, otherwise I will just cut off the last 3/16" of the male portion. The handle on the cutter is poorly fashioned. The steel fasteners don't line up well with the holes made for them in the wood handle, and the handle itself was gouged a bit next to one of the fasteners. Again, very poor quality control. It shouldn't have made it out of the factory. That said, I bought it for the peel, and I think it will work out fine. I do notice that the price has gone up by more than 10% since I bought it.

The Pizza Peel and Rocker Cutter are well made and work great. My dilemma is where to keep this stuff as they are quite large. The Peel comes with a nice extension for the handle in case you need it. I can get my pizzas out of the oven without needing the extended handle. The cutter is fantastic too does a great job and is of high quality IMO. I'm no professional baker, but the limited times I've used these they have served me well. They should last for many years.

The quality and sturdiness of this product is amazing. I have used this at least a dozen times or more since I purchased and absolutely no rust what so ever after washing and air drying. The handle tightens and stays in place. The handle is long enough to keep your face away from the heat. The pizza cutter is sharp and I like the rocker style versus the wheel and I have both styles. My inexperience in making pizzas and using a peel is how quickly I need to get the pizza off the paddle and into the oven on my pizza stone. The technique will come with experience. I highly recommend this product to assist in getting homemade pizzas onto a pizza stone.
