How much fluid does a 115 Yamaha power trim hold?

After changing the Trim & Tilt seals and flushing out what was left of the old fluid I used the whole quart to fill it

Can you use this for power steering also?

i wouldn't risk it. use proper fluid

How do I pour the oil into resevoir on my Yamaha F90?

By means of a plastic tube. I drilled a tight hole in the cap and pushed the plastic tube well down in the bottle. Then I squeezed on the bottle forcing the oil thru the tube and into the reservoir.

Is this the one for a 225 SHO outboard?

Not sure. Trim oil is basically the same. You can check with a dealer. My motor is 2006 200 4 stroke Yamaha.

Worked well

Needed to do some work on my Yamaha power trim and knew I'd need some additional fluid. Yamaha makes a great product and was glad I had this on hand at the start of the repairs. Trim is fixed and I have some left over if needed in the future.
