I've been using this water bowl since 2018 and I absolutely love it. The bowl automatically fills a little at a time as my dogs drink so it's never too full and they make less of a mess while lapping. It's easy to fill and holds enough water for 2 dogs where I'm not filling it all the time. It's sturdy. Also I appreciate that I can turn the setting to lock the water from filling the bowl when I want to carry it from sink to floor. It won't fill until I turn the setting. Cleaning it is pretty simple. I have wondered about the interior of the bowl where the water is held. I have used vinegar water to rinse it out. I've never smelled any mustiness or noted anything that appeared to be mold or mildew. If there was a negative to this bowl, it would be that I can't see inside it and know that it's clean.

I bought the 1 liter size because it's smaller and wouldn't impede walking down the aisle in my small RV. I use it for travelling. The water refills as my dogs drink and the only time it spills is when I'm driving up and down really steep or winding roads (I lock it when I know the road will be steep or curvy). The feet keep it in place, it's easy to lock it and toss out the water in the bowl and rinse it when my dogs leave hair or crumbs of food in the bowl. I take it with me on car trips too, that way I always have water and a dish for them. I've had it several years, I'm surprised by the negative comments.

The replacement filters are pricey and hard to get. If you see a deal on a bowl and 6 filters for under $30, take it. The filters themselves are different prices every day. Ive gotten 5 for $13. Then they went up to $17. Now its $21. So look every day.

Malfunctioned after filling it before going on a vacation. Luckily had someone house sitting, otherwise the pets would've been without water. Checked and double checked that it wasn't user error - an issue with the filter not being seated correctly or any similar issues. Couldn't bring myself to trust it again, so it's going in the bin.

Bought this dish 1 and 1/2 to 2 years ago. Never had an issue with functionality. The only way it won't work is if you put stopper in backwards. Have had 0 issues with water coming out into bowl.. Have not traveled with it yet. Perfect for summer when you don't want to worry about your dogs water dish being dry. Holds a fair amount of water. Have had electric powered fountain water dishes before this one and these were not as care free.

Was not great filter didn't always work

I have a very large British Short hair and every cat bowl or contraption out there gets tipped over and floods the floors. I have spent a fortune in bowls. I spotted this and what a brilliant designed bowl it is, it's perfect for my cat as it has a non-slip base so the giant beast cannot drag the bowl as easily as before but the weight of the water adds to this challenge too. I like that you fill the bowl and it slowly tops up the water level as it gets lapped by thirsty jaws - this is convenient in keeping the water fresh and also not worrying in case you forget to top the bowl up with fresh water. I am not sure I like the carbon filters - it seems to seep out some floaty bits. However, the beast hasn't complained, I won't be purchasing more of the filters though. Love this bowl and think I will buy another soon.

Works great and my cat doesn't try and tip it over. The 2ltr may be better so you aren't filling up as often.

Ideaal dat het niet een reuze grote bak is want er waait altijd wel stof of haar in en met de warmte hebben de dames toch altijd vers gefilterd water dat in het bakje stroomt.

Habe ich für meinen Welpen gekauft, ist wirklich super beim trinken ist die halbe Küche, bei meinen vorherigen Hunden bzw Gasthunden, immer unter Wasser. Das passiert hier def. Nicht. Mein Welpe musst sich aber erst an den niedrigen Wasserstand gewöhnen er dachte da ist nichts mehr drin u ist in den Garten gelaufen da habe ich noch eine normale Wasserschale stehen. Hab ihm aber gezeigt das da wirklich viel Wasser drin ist. Hat er dann super angenommen. Also kann ich nur empfehlen. Werde ich noch für unsere Praxis kaufen da ist Hygiene ja super wichtig. Mein Hund wird als Therapiehund ausgebildet.

It costs more than I'd prefer to spend on a cat bowl, but I'm sure the high price point is because of the patents for an innovative new design. I felt however that this would be a good investment as one of my cats is scared of water fountains and manual bottle drip feeders as they splash or gurgle (or both), and unfortunately he refuses to drink from anything other than a small shallow bowl, which I struggle with constantly refilling with my mobility issues. I haven't seen my cats use this yet as I only received it today (I also still have a regular water bowl down during transition), but I can see the shallow wide bowl being preferable on their whiskers, and easy to drink from. It also fills slowly and quietly, without splashing or gurgling, which was what I was hoping for. I put the bowl next to my timid cat and opened the valve, and I was happy to see he didn't react at all as the water trickled quietly into the bowl! Yay! I'm impressed with the design of this product. It's exactly as I'd hoped, and the replacement carbon filters are easy to purchase via Amazon UK, and are reasonably priced. It's easy to clean with washing up liquid by simply removing the cap and filter, and dunking the whole thing, filling up the reservoir as well as the bowl, washing out, and then rinsing with clean water. It can also be deep cleaned by dunking overnight with baby sterilising solution. Once I'm sure both my cats are happy using it I intend to replace their second water bowl with another of these too. They will make my life so much easier, and hopefully keep both my cats happy too!
