A must for all families with active babies
Simply one of the easiest life saving tools you can use on your babies’ developing craniums! I found this most helpful during the crawling and walking and climbing stages of babyhood. This saved my babies in so many instantaneous moments of sudden wobbles and off balance movements knocking them onto their tushies and backs and sides evidently banging the back or sides of their heads on the floor. This is kinda helpful for preventing frontal lobe head injuries however I try to prevent those before they happen because if a baby is about to fall forward , it’s not just the forehead I’m worried about, it’s the face or the nose or the lips or the cheeks or jaws. This product is so cute and helpful and underestimated! A must for all families with babies. The strings make me nervous around the neck so I usually just tuck them into the back of the helmet or I let them hang on the sides.

Life Saver! This is Genius!
This is the Best item for your crawling baby. I was skeptical I totally but I’m so happy we bought this for my 8 month old who is crawling all over. We have hard wood floors and given he’s just now starting to crawl he’s not fully balanced and has hit his head on floors. Once we bought this, we put it on him and he cruises the house and if he falls over he is absolutely safe. These bumper pads are so soft and lightweight and it’s so easy to put on baby. I would buy again and again and I’ll be buying for friends with crawling babies. If you’re hesitant to buy, PLEase make the purchase you’ll be so happy you did. Before this helmet, I had to keep eyes glued to baby and anytime he went onto wood floors I had to bring him back to rug and that was so exhausting plus baby hated it. Now with the the helmet, I have so much peace in letting him crawl all over the floors and because of that his crawling Skills have significantly improved. It’s amazing! Thank you for selling this at such an affordable price! You are saving babies heads and that is truly valuable!

and the pattern is so adorable we will probably still use this helmet some even ...
Update: 14 mos. She wears this helmet all the time. During the worst of the summer heat, where it was around 100 degrees, we'd take helmet breaks and sprinkle her head with cool water and she did fine. It's been at the splash pad and around a concrete pool deck, has been washed and dried with some fading. It has spared us some really serious accidents and gives her freedom to explore EVERYWHERE without mommy constantly over her shoulder, pulling her back from would-be trips to the ER. Honestly, I think any kid this age could benefit from these helmets. We've received a lot of compliments and had a lot of friends, family and strangers asking us where we got ours. As many people that did survive serious head injuries as children, there were so many more who went through a lot of pain or had lasting damage that could have been spared them. My kid is not yet steady on her feet. She careens through her environment like a pinball. Because of her helmet, I can stand back and keep an eye from a safe distance, giving her room to play independently and not letting her Von Willebrand's get in the way of normal kid stuff. On the plus side, this thing is adorable and makes her look like the mushroom from Mario Bros. My daughter was just diagnosed with von Willebrand's Disease, a disease similar to hemophilia, which runs in my family. She is frighteningly physical - a 'daredevil' who at 11 months is already scaling the side of her playpen and throws herself at random onto her back on the floor or against walls/her crib rails. We bought this helmet as an interim helmet while sorting out the finances for the more expensive medical one. I have to say, I am impressed! While a bit large and bulky, the helmet does fit her head. The ties are not as awkward as I thought they would be, and the pattern is so adorable we will probably still use this helmet some even after the medical one comes. Her head is definitely protected and she learned pretty quickly to keep it on and not try and pull it off. My issues are: it is difficult to keep the helmet on tight enough not to slide around on her head without also leaving little imprints on her head from the fabric folds. I feel like we can't really win either way, but I also don't see how this could be improved. I wish the ties were actually an adjustable buckle. That said, the ties are way less obtrusive and annoying than I thought they would be. In short, this is a cute and functional helmet at a great price. I don't think you need to have a child with special needs just to buy one. As a parent, you know your child. Some kids are just brutal. Personally, I feel much more at ease knowing that we will be spared the panic of rushing to the hospital on a Sunday night because the baby threw herself onto the floor and now we need a scan to see if she is bleeding! You can't put a price on peace of mind.

Cute.. Perfect Protection!
I really like this Product my daughter is crawling and standing a lot, and after a few troublesome falls- I decided to get her a protective helmet. A few worries I had, was the head bumper would be to big or bulky due to some reviews. But I think its a perspective thing. The hat isnt very big or wide but what I would expect from a padded headband. The hat is a great fit for my 8 mos old daughter. She is 17ibs. I think if your child is under 7mos, the hat may be a little to big. But overall for my daughter it fits quite snug. She actually doesnt notice its on her head so the hat is comfortable. And also its honestly so cuute!! The straps are in no way a chocking hazard since they tie under your childs chin. But overall the straps arent nessacary if it fits well enough u can just tuck them at the top of the helmet. The hat has adjustable velcro in the back so it can be made larger. A possible concern for parents with babies with longer hair is since the hat has opening at the top for ventilation, some of your childs hair could get caught in the velcro, so pay proper attention when adjusting or removing the hat. Overall I highly suggest this product for any parent whose child is crawling and learning to walk and is about 7mos+. Since all babies at this time will fall and its better safe then getting a concussion.

Best Baby Product Ever !!!!
My baby is just now starting to crawl and as any mom my kid crawls anywhere the moment I take my eyes off him. He’s had a few bumps and as a new mom I tend to get very nervous and scared that he might get serious injuries for hitting his head in places. Many tell me it’s common from baby’s but it’s just really new for me. The Moment I saw this product I didn’t think twice!!!! At first I was like if it doesn’t work what the heck I don’t have anything to lose. BUT LET ME TELL YOU THIS IS AMAZING !!!! At first my baby didn’t really like it but he eventually got used to it. I honestly get relief that my baby doesn’t hit his head on things anymore, and really makes me happy that he likes it too!!!! He’s fallen a few times already but it’s just cries, that he stumble but not cries of pain!!! I’m so thankful for the person who made this because you honestly made me feel secured that my kid won’t have serious injuries on his head by bumping into things on the daily.

Smaller size needed
My daughter is 9 months old and she’s been on the move since 8 months old. I’m sure there are many babies who start sooner than mine. The point is this head protection bumper is great but I have needed to make adjustments on it so that it fits my baby’s head. I had to cut out a bit of the front so that my little one could see. The other adjustment that I did was I had to sew it in the back. Even putting the Velcro to the farthest edge wasn’t enough. Her head is much smaller. I had to tighten it and so I hand sewed it instead. However it’s a great product with my adjustments and has definitely rescued her from some tough falls.

Perfect for babies learning to crawl and walk!
Perfect for what it's intended for. I faithfully use this every single day for my baby whenever she is down on her own. We've been using it every since she started to crawl around and pull up on things to protect her from any mishaps or slips. It's amazing!! I prefer this helmet over the backpacks because this helmet gives you overall coverage for their entire head and not just the back. The velcro is adjustable for their head so I'm able to have the helmet secure enough where it fits snug but still comfortable and I don't even need to tie the straps. I tuck them away in the back of the helmet to prevent my baby from pulling at them and removing the helmet. If the straps are out of sight, she's not tempted to grab them and pull the helmet off. Overall, great helmet for the price and a huge lifesaver for me so I don't have to worry about a potential heart attack if my baby were to lose her balance while still in the learning stages of crawling/pulling up/walking.

Works As Intended But Makes Your Baby Look Like Toad From Super Mario
We have hardwood floors. Thanks to the ginormous head-to-body ratio on most babies, it was inevitable that gravity would eventually win out over the neck muscles of an emerging crawler. Needless to say, the day finally came when I dropped my guard for a second, heard a slap followed by a wailing baby, and had to undergo a rigorous interrogation from the spouse as to how this could've happened. I'm sure a free solution would be to never take my eyes off a crawling baby. But, I'm a realist. I can and will get distracted again. So, my second solution was this. An indoor baby helmet. The velcro makes this product easily adjustable for any baby with a grapefruit – cantaloupe sized head. Thanks to the open top, you don't have to worry about overheating. Best of all, the spongy padding is thick enough for a little one to bop their head around like a pinball to their heart's content. Two minor issues with the product: 1. The tie straps that secure under the chin may annoy your baby and become a target for pulling and tugging (this may or may not be amusing to some); 2. Wearing this product will make your baby look like one of the Mushroom People from Super Mario (again, this may or may not be amusing to some). If you find the two minor issues listed above to be non-issues, then you'll probably love this product.

Doesn't work, can slip & cover baby's eyes
Just doesn't stay on my 6 month olds' head. pretty much useless. Even if we force fit on my daughter, she manages to remove it in 2 mins. It can also slip on the head and cover my baby's eyes, which does more harm and causes danger than increase safety
