Samsung 2020 43" Q60T QLED 4K Quantum HDR Smart TV with Tizen OS

This is an excellent tv well worth the money, it was easy to put the legs on and the tv is sturdy. The picture quality is excellent it looks 3D like you could put your hand into the tv scene. When it’s connected to a xbox etc... the graphics are better there is more detail in them. The sound is really good we used to have our old TV set on 30-40 volume but with this new tv it is on 15-25 so will be plenty of range if you like the sound to be more. We are just sorting out the smart tv which looks really good too, it easily connects to the internet and voice assistance is good too. I would definitely recommend this tv it will easily last 10-15 years, you won’t be disappointed.

We love the TV! It was so easy to set up and literally took ten minutes from taking it out of the box to watching something. No tools required and everything you need is in the box including batteries for the remote. You can set up Netflix and Prime with an Android mobile by scanning a QR code or go on the website and enter the code. The picture quality is good and the audio better than I expected although we already had the Samsung sound bar. The menu is intuitive and easy to understand. Delivery was prompt, in fact it came three days early. The delivery company called to say they would arrive in 30 minutes.

I really like this TV but the audio was not great. My hearing is not the best to be fair but i ended up getting a soundbar ( Sonos Beam, its amazing) as I struggled to discern dialogue. TV picture is excellent and whilst this is the bottom end of the QLED range still offers a nice picture. EXCEPT... in HDR, watching Amazon Prime, then its really dim. I’m actually considering cancelling my Prime membership and jumping over to Netflix as apparently the dim HDR issue is a topic of much discontent. Honestly i watched Goliath on an older Tv (no HDR) and it looked way better!

Some weeks ago, I decided that an upgrade to a 4K TV was in order. I did a bit of research and went for the Samsung TU8000 43". It duly arrived, set it all up, but felt a bit underwhelmed by it. There was nothing wrong with it, I just wasn't getting the picture quality I thought I'd get. It was then that a bit more research ensued and I found the Q60T QLED. I began to realise that the quantum dot technology is what I should have gone for in the first place. Eventually, the credit card came out and I bought the Q60T. It arrived yesterday and with a bit of trepidation, I disconnected the TU8000 and replaced it with the Q60T. After a few minutes I knew that I should have bought it in the first place. It might be 'entry level' in the quantum dot 'game' - but the picture quality is superb. The other mistake I made is that the other half likes to record to hard drive - you can't with the TU8000 but you can with the Q60T. Not sure what to do with the TU8000 yet - but am much happier with the better far better picture quality of the Q60T.

The pricture is amazing, the sound isn't bad but as with any flat screen TV, I always use a sound bar (Yamaha currently) which makes a huge difference. You get 2 remote controld; a quick remote with the basic functions, and a full remote control. My one criticism, and this applies to all Samsung TVs I have had (4 in total) is that you need to push a button on the remote a lot of times to set the sleep timer which I do use frequently. A button on the remote or not buried quite so deeply in the menu system would make it much easier. The legs on this model are at the far ends, whereas previously, there was a central stand so I have to get rid of my glass TV stand as it would fit under my last 42" TV, which had the central stand, but won't fit under this 43". Not an issue of course if you intend to wall mount. My previous TV (Samsung 4K 42") was great, but the OLED screen on this is yet another step up. When playing a 4K DVD (Samsung M9000) with the Yamaha sound bar is an absolute pleasure. Very highly recommended!

Before i begin this review is for Spatial Direct who were the outlet for my purchase on that day through this item page. I bought this tv a week ago and it arrived pretty quick, faster than expected. set it all up which took no time at all and was great but had slight issue with the HDMI Port housing. Not a major issue and didnt affect the tv at that time. I emailed and had a response within seconds and this for me was incredible. Their customer service team were fantastic and took no time in making sure i had a replacement on the way and pick up for the other one. response to emails was super fast and the way they made me feel as a customer was great. The new one is spot on. no issues, set up as quick as before and its a fantastic monitor. will reccomend this company especially for all your electronic needs so if you see their name its worth a purchase.

A superb television! The picture quality is excellent and the upscaling is very impressive. Very easy to set up and link to all my devices except the volume control on my Sky remote does not link! I understand that this is a common problem but to honest it is not enough to really bother me as the television is so good.

Stunning TV, best picture, really stunning colour. Had a smart TV which needed replacing was not expecting much difference in picture quality but was I wrong. Easy to set up and some interesting extra channels some of which I haven't got round to. Excellent value for a superb TV.
