Large and safer to use
This is a large chimney, so doesn't need to be fully filled. It empties from the bottom, so is safer to use than others.

Didn't work properly from the first attempt to use it.
The first time I used it I had to bang it on the inside of the grill to get the bottom to open. The second time I used it I didn't have to bang it as when I pulled the trigger the bottom fell out altogether. I put the bottom piece back in and with no charcoal in place it seemed to be working OK. However, when I picked it up to use it a third time the bottom once again fell out. Into the trash it went.

Nice features but not durable
This product has a large enough capacity for a good chimney starter and the quick release trigger is convenient. However, the chimney bottom and trigger mechanism fell apart after 1.5 seasons, so I will not buy again. Back to Weber's large chimney.
