BRAIN GAMES
We are all focused a bit more on brain health these days and activities that can help us retain what we have. I have loved doing little workbooks since I was in elementary school. Puzzles are a lot of fun and can be a diversion from things you want to just not think about a while. This is a great stress buster! This edition has some association activities, word find, find the hidden objects, some quantitative skills and brain teasers. I like a variety of puzzles so I can be sure to stimulate various portions of the brain. My daughter and I will do some of these together with a little bit of competitive spirit and enjoy sharing that time among us. This is a great book with lots of different things to do that will wake up your brain and keep you thinking. Reasonable cost and great past time. I got a couple of these for a friend who was hospitalized and he loved them! Get some for you and those you care about.

Overall amazing, docked a star for a couple of typos (not major, but worth noting)
I got this for my mom after she had a traumatic brain injury and needed brain surgery. When I got it for her she still wasn’t super aware and wasn’t talking at the time so I couldn’t gauge her cognitive abilities yet. It took about 5 months post injury for her to even open the book and have it make sense, but since then she can’t put it down. She loves it! Her speech therapist loves it too! There’s a wonderful variety of puzzles. My mom really likes how there’s different categories of puzzles and different themes. Only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is because there are a few typos that have tripped up my mom and with her having aphasia, she wasn’t sure if the book was wrong or if she was wrong. Knocked it on start because that’s something I’d hope for the author to catch in future prints/publications. Overall, great book. I feel like it has helped my mom tons in her recovery.

Fun book for Seniors
I was in a rehab facility for a month due to having pnemonia and having to get stronger in order to be able to go home. After a while tV and the radio is boring. Same for reading. I was so glad when i recieved this because not only was it fun, it made me use my brain unlike I feel like i had in a while. There were all different kind of puzzles to do, fiinding what the difference was from one picture compared to another, also math puzzles, trying to pick out the correct answer to questions that involved you counting and keeping the people straight, also other puzzles that you don’t see in any of the puzzles books now a days. I used to love getting these as a kid in school to do during qquiet time. But now they are geared towards adults and were much more fun. I will buy another verion of this when this publisher comes out with another. Maybe even buy one for my best friend who lives in another state.

great activity book for seniors
I really liked this activity book because it was fun, challenging but doable! I am a senior and like to keep my mind busy and this book has a lot of variety of puzzles! I plan to get more like it in future
