A nice sized fan, appears to be good quality though plastic in the main. Three speeds, oscillation feature and three timer settings - what more do you need? Timer feature is great for night time use to help you get off to sleep with a cool breeze in the bedroom without having it on all night. It certainly seems to move a lot of air even on the lowest setting. Noise wise, I use it on Low at night for sleeping (with the timer) and it's really quiet, doesn't disturb sleep at all. Moving it to the living room and using the medium setting, whilst producing more noise, it's certainly not enough to be that mindful of and doesn't intrude or impact on watching Tv, reading etc. Not tried it on High setting as found that the two lower have been adequate for my requirements. It's a bit pricey, others are available at a lower price, but I do feel it represents good value for money and does the job well.

Possibly now the favourite thing I own! What a lifesaver! It arrived 5 minutes after the clapped out dog crate fan that was keeping me alive in my stuffy little bedroom died it's final death. Will totally consider buying a second one when I get paid, well worth the money. It's a really wonderful compact size and sits on my windowsill perfectly, i have it facing my bed which is about 1.5-2m away and the breeze is wonderful. Is it a high powered arctic wind? No, definitely not. But it's very well priced, it's as quiet as you get without leaping from a £20+ to £300+ fan, the oscillate function is great, has a good range without going too far and at a good speed. It turns silently and easily. It has three buttons, power/strength just keep pressing it, oscillate on/off and timer, just keep pressing to cycle through the options. Affordable, quiet as fans go (I'm AuDHD and hyper sensitive to sound and despise white noise so this is huge for me!). It does the job well! I would keep it for smaller rooms or for creating a breeze on a targeted area eg a chair or in the kitchen etc. It's range isn't enormous but far better than I expected for the price. Couldn't be happier! I took a video but stupidly got too close so as the fan faces my phone directly you do get the sound of the breeze blowing over the microphone but between that, you can hear the sound of it.

Wouldn't it be nice if all product descriptions were complete, honest and accurate? This fan: not bad. Plus points: energy consumption does seem to be lower than other fans (16w stated - my rubbish smart meter thinks this may be roughly accurate); low power is fairly quiet (but it is a fan, so not silent, right?); powerful enough for one person (ie won't chill a room); oscillation mechanism is quiet and functional (on mine, anyway - some other reviews are not impressed); build quality not too bad; look and carry-ability good. Minus points: doesn't tilt, so needs to be positioned at the same height you might want air to me moved at (if it tilted, even just a bit, and even with a wider footprint to stop it falling over, it would be a great fan!); goes to full power when you turn it on (eg if using a voice activation switch); mid and high power the same amount of noise as most other fans (but at a slightly higher pitch, given the small fan size) Summary: as in the title, I'm buying another one. Cheap to run, easy to store, and does the job.

Brilliant in this heat.. easy to operate and oscillation is brilliant and the timer is a handy function. Fits well on my desk without being intrusive and 3 speed is handy and easy to move to different locations

So far this fan looks really nice, it's quiet and it blows really far. It's really small so I can stick it on my desk and use it during the summer heat. It's nice that it oscillates. You can turn off the oscillation, of course, it also has three varying modes of speed, and seemingly a timer mode too. The time remote is really handy for fans cus typically I turn them on and forget to turn them off, especially if you sleep with one. This was really easy to use, my daughter is three and she's able to turn it off and on.

Just arrived, nice and compact works well but down side is the constance humming not much use in the bedroom keeps me awake

I needed a quiet fan to leave on for the dog overnight. This fan has a gentle setting, perfect for her, with two more powerful levels, both very cooling if you sit in front of it. It can oscillate or remain static and has a timer. A tiny blue light indicates it's working but nothing obtrusive in the dark. It's very quiet on the first setting. I liked it so much, for the price, that I bought myself one for the bedroom.

Pretty good. Much better and cooler than my old fans
