Ernie Ball Turbo Slinky Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings, 9.5-46 Gauge (P02224)

Ernie Ball has been my string of choice for 40+ years. The quality is there and the price, reasonable. They hold up really well to daily use.

Easy to apply to the Guitar and feels nice to play with either with a pick or fingers. I can see them lasting pretty long even with use. Great value.

Trying different gauge strings is fun and affordable way to find that tone you want to nail. I play 11’s and was skeptical. I put them on my Epiphone Firebird and they sound good unplugged and are gnarly with my Orange Rocker 30. For me, it enables me to hear more nuances out of my left hand and thats kinda important. Try them and if you dont like them, youre out 8$. No bigs.

Bought these for the stock gauge 9.5-46. My SG with Custombuckers with 9.5-44 seemed a bit weak on the wound strings and I was not able to even them out by adjusting the pups' height or pole pieces. I think I may have tried some wound strings I had around and then started searching for custom sets, but found these and they did really did the trick! And the gauges aren't so far off as to notice the heavier tension when moving to the wound stings. I keep several extra sets, have some in my case and my gigging bag as backup. Will definitely keep buying for my SG.

After using the Super Slinky for a while I decided to try these for the first time and you can really feel the difference under your fingers. I like the fullness of the low end but the G string is pretty hard to bend. It’s gonna take some time to get used.

Ma recommandation : achetez toujours des cordes légitimes ! ! Jai déjà acheté des cordes Made in china moins chères sur un autre site, mais cela ne vaut pas la coup, elles cassent sans arrêt. Celles là ne cassent pas, et durent donc bien plus longtemps. Très bonne qualité, et tirant excellent pour qui veut des cordes souples et facile pour les "bends" sur les aigus, et des basses plus grosses et plus punchy.

普段使い10-46からゲージ落とすならこれ試す価値あり。09-42だとテンション緩すぎとか音が細い。プリモスリンキー44-0.95のセットは低音弦が細すぎで違和感ある。09-46は高音弦が細いかなぁ。 で、このセットは低音弦の弾き心地そのままに、高音弦のニュアンスが出しやすくなる。テンションも緩くなり弾きやすい。

Obviously there are plenty of knock offs of Ernie ball strings and they can be very convincing. These however are the real deal and work well. Not defaults when you open them and sound clear. Obviously longevity depends on your playing style and Guitar steup (I use floyd Roses so they can and have lasted for months with a mixture of 2-10hrs playing a week, but then a little too much energy on stage and I can snap a nearly new string).

Just love these strings. Highly recommended.
