Fantastic, Amazing, Love them.
I was using the TLD speed sleeves but in spite of what the reviews say, have ZERO circulation and are very hot. I ordered these based on reviews. First, they have a lot of protection. There is side padding as well as the main front guards. Second, Outstanding circulation, This pleasantly surprised me. You can actually feel air flow coming through the front guards, amazing given the TLD sleeves have none. The back is mesh with a cut out to allow lots of circulation. The mesh is the same mesh that the TLD speed elbow sleeves have. ( Why the TLD knee sleeves do not use this is a mystery to me). The TLD speed knee sleeves were the very first thing that came of after a ride. With these, I can wear them without sweating profusely and they are so comfortable, I wait to take them off until I get home. 3rd, They STAY ON. I have ridden 25 miles on rough trails without ANY slippage. At first, there is a sensation of slippage, but they just don't slip. So far, they are holding up in the delicate wash cycle . I expect these to last as long as the TLD speed elbow sleeves' mesh does. (excellent for a year now) Even the extra large, unnecessary labels in the front top of the sleeves do not chafe or rub

Stays in place, not too tight, super sturdy.
I bought these for mountain biking. I have them on for the whole day riding in 90° weather and I forget I even have them on. Super comfortable, even when riding in shorts and the guard is directly on the skin. I've never had to readjust it because it was slipping or binding. Fortunately I haven't needed them yet because so far I've stayed in the saddle, but the construction is super solid so I have no fear that if I need them, they'll protect me. I highly recommend.

Great fit, comfortable to wear during hot rides
These should fit great if you measure yourself correctly. I’m writing this review after they helped save my knee during a wipeout on a ride. It wasn’t the first time they hit the ground, but it was the first time when I was super glad I had them on. They didn’t move on impact and they took the hit really well. One thing that probably helped was the small pads on the side of the knee. I came down with my bike in a weird jam and that’s where the frame hit me. The pads on top of the knee are nice, too. These breathe pretty well, and I don’t get too hot with them on, even riding around in 80+ degrees. Edit: 5 months later, they’re still holding up great. They fit well in the small straps on a Dakine Hot Laps 2L waist bag if you don’t want to wear them right away. They roll up tight enough you could strap them to your frame if you don’t use a bag of any kind.

Comfortable Light Duty Knee Pads
After riding with these knee pads for a few weeks, I can confirm their quality and comfort. They stay in place well but aren't overly tight. Coverage is good. The rubber over the knee area is a little thinner than I expected, but seems to do the job. They fit well under riding pants.

Very light and comfortable but the top slides down
As the title says, these knee pads are a dream to wear, breathable, and even more comfortable/cooler than my POC Air VPDs. I like to coverage and flexibility, however the top sleeve that sits around the thighs slides down to the knee cap after a bit. I think the reason is the silicone band at the top is very narrow and does’t provide enough grip against the skin, especially once you break a sweat. It’s not a deal breaker since the pads themselves stayed in place otherwise, but it would be nice if they had a wider grippier silicone band to keep that top sleeve from sliding down. I don’t think it’s a fit issue either since the medium fits me snugly and it’s actually a bit tight around my thighs, which one would think would help keep the band in place. Nevertheless, the light weight, comfort/flexibility and ventilation are top notch and I recommend these pads. I even bought a pair for my son who’s just getting into MTB.

Knee saver for impact sports.
Update 3/17/24: No change at all. The irritation I had discussed was the tags on the inside getting placed funny while putting on. After figuring that out, the irritation feeling is gone. Still going strong a long time later. I use these for paintball primarily. They have absolutely brought back my play aggression. I previously was getting sore knees, and ultimately legs and lower back while playing that significantly slowed me down. Using in-pant hard knee pads just get ripped out, and pants with built in foam just didn't fit the bill. The over the pant knee pads (like military surplus) just suck, and the construction ones just literally aren't meant for movement. Someone recommended finding 'D30' rated knee pads, as they are impact rated. To explain this, these knee pads are NOT SOFT. They are not clouds. To be completely honest, the first time or two you will find them uncomfortable. But to be able to dive onto the ground, get to one knee, and shimmy around, and feel absolutely nothing through that ENTIRE process is just priceless. And after a few times wearing them, they feel normal now and you won't really notice them. These do not move around your leg. I have never had to readjust them. Playing in the heat, sweating like a pig. Playing in the pouring rain, just drenched dripping wet. Playing in the cold no issues. You pull them on to your bare skin under any layers, and they have really solid grippy rubber on the tops and bottoms that truly grip your skin (not in a pulling manner). They breath really well. I don't have any sweating issues with them directly. The backs of the knees are cut out to allow for bending without material bunch, but also let them breath. Over long days, like 6-7+ hours, they have gotten a little irritable at times. But I've never had any kind of rugburn or chafing from them, or over compression that hurt blood flow. I recommend these to nearly everybody. If not these specifically, then any 'D30' style knee pads specifically. Thank you for coming to my rambling TED talk lol.
