To make the crust dairy free...I had to modify the recipe a little: Miyoko's plant butter, ice cold, 10 oz cut to 1/4 inch squares. Put into mixer. Freeze pie crust mix in package. Add to mixer ice cold. Mix at very low speed, stir for 5- 10 minutes until dough forms little BB sized balls. Add 8-12 tbsp ice water. We have a soy-dairy-gluten-rice allergy in the house. This mix has opened up a whole new realm of meals for us. Pot pies, fruit pies...Awesome.

Some of my family has celiac’s or gluten sensitivity so finding stuff that is delicious and has a good texture is always a win. It came together very well and was easy to handle and made a bunch of pies. Will definitely use this again.

Best crust I have tried so far. This crust reminds me of my Mom's butter crust that she made for all her pies. The mix stays together when rolling out. There is enough crust mix for 2 pies and extra if you are making a fruit pie. The flavor is nutty but not overwhelming. The flavor does not take away from your pie but compliments it like it should. The crust bakes nicely and you do not have to pre-bake it. I will be using this pie crust mix for the Holidays.

I don't require gluten free, but I have a friend who does, so I got this for when we cooked together. I found that it didn't have the elasticity or texture of a typical pie crust. It also tastes slightly sweet. It clashed quite a bit for spicy savory (meat) pies, BUT we found it perfect for dessert pies. We weren't able roll it out and lift it into pie plates, but it worked fine for pat-in-pan type pie crust. We made an amazing lemon curd tart with it. So, if you understand the limitations of this type of dough (which I clearly did not), it is a fine gluten free option.

This crust is amazing. It was easy to combine in a food processor. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow. It was so flaky! If I didn’t know it was GF crust I wouldn’t have known. Keep an eye on it in the oven. It got brown a lot faster than I thought it would.

You can’t find a lot of flour that’s good! I wish they made white bread? I fold it and stuff it with all kinds of stuff !

Upset that this came in a completely crushed and opened box and there’s no way to get a replacement. Was planning to use did Thanksgiving. 😔 What a waste of $12!!

Although it takes extra care to prepare the crust, the taste and texture was excellent. I followed the directions exactly as instructed. I think not having rice flour as an ingredient was key! I made a double crust pie and a lemon pie. The crust is pricey but I will use it again for special occasions.

Made this for my niece who is gluten free. She commented that this brand is an excellent choice as it is “safe, safe”. Made a strawberry rhubarb pie using this crust mix. My niece said it was fabulous. Others ate the pie and said it was excellent pastry. I will definitely buy again.

Easy to make and it turned out really good. Pricey.

Je fait mes pâté du temps des fête avec cette pâte j'aime bien, c'est certain que c'est pas aussi simple que celle avec gluten mais au moins je peut me faire de petit pâté pour les fêtes

Pretty nice a little crumbly but taste good
