What's the difference between RMR-86 and RMR-86 PRO?

Both are professional-grade, ready-to-use stain removers designed for fast results. RMR-86 PRO has a stronger formula built for demanding professional and restoration jobs and may provide a longer shelf life under proper storage conditions.

Does RMR-86 PRO kill mold?

No. RMR-86 PRO removes stains caused by mold and mildew; it does not kill mold. It is Step 1 of RMR's 2-step process. RMR recommends following with RMR-141 (not included) to disinfect spores according to label directions.

Do I need to scrub or sand?

No scrubbing is required for typical stains, though stubborn areas may need light scrubbing or reapplication. RMR-86 PRO works in seconds, helping reduce sanding, scraping, wire brushing, and manual labor.

Will RMR-86 PRO keep mold stains from coming back?

RMR-86 PRO removes existing mold and mildew stains but does not correct the underlying moisture conditions that cause mold growth. Address leaks, humidity, ventilation, or other underlying moisture sources as part of proper remediation.

How should I apply RMR-86 PRO?

Wear appropriate PPE, shake before use, and apply directly to the affected surface using a bleach-rated sprayer. Allow the formula to work as stains disappear. Do not fog RMR-86 PRO and always follow product label directions.
