NURSING.com Comprehensive NCLEX Book [458 Pages] (2020, review for nursing students, full-color, content + practice questions + answers + cheat sheets)

I will start studying for my NCLEX soon and have been using NURSING.com since I was in nursing school. I’ve loved all their videos and practice questions. I’m more of a visual learner so seeing the information and how easy to understand it was, made my studying so much smoother. Now that I’m finishing nursing school, I hopped on the train to buy their NCLEX book and couldn’t be much happier! The layout is AMAZING. The content is easy to understand, they only give you what you really, really need to know and the visuals that are included in this book are great. I decided to add tabs to all the high yield sections of this book and I can’t wait to start studying and pass my NCLEX. This will be the PERFECT resource for me. Thank you Nursing.com.

BEST PURCHASE. I TELL ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT THIS BOOK. I wish I would have found it while I was in school still... the way it breaks processes down is phenomenal, and it even provides H-T assessment findings, and therapeutic management/nursing interventions. Chapters are short and easy to read. Each chapter has 3 practice questions at the end with pretty in-detail rationales. Some of the concepts made more sense in this book than they did after the 2 week long explanations I received in lecture and lab. GREAT RESOURCE FOR CARE PLANS TOO. Has common meds, med prefix/suffix, examples, side effects, and therapeutic drug levels for some of them, as well as common labs with therapeutic ranges. Just buy it. It is 100% worth the purchase! Butthurt I didn't know about it sooner.

I never write reviews, but I thought it was important to write one for this book in May, 2022 so that other nursing students can utilize this awesome book without fear! A lot of other reviews mentioned that the pages are glossy and you can't highlight without ruining the pages/have pages sticking together or write with a pen or pencil. Honestly, that made me not want to purchase this book at first. I debated getting the Kindle version instead. Kindle never looks the same and I prefer physical books, so I took a leap of faith and bought it. NSRG must've made adjustments with the paper. You can definitely highlight without sticking and make notes with pen or pencil as demonstrated in my video! Plus the pages feel like a high quality paper and do not look or feel glossy. I highlighted and wrote in several pages with no issues. FYI, not every cheatsheet is included. The information provided is not as detailed as the overview on their website, but it's more concise and focuses on the important key points that you need to know. Care plans are also not included, but it's easy enough to print them out or reference on their website. Overall, I really like this book so far! It has helped make my study time more manageable!

This is a must have! Need to strengthen your content? This is THE book! I'm a visual learner. I bought a DVD self study package from another review program (won't mention names) but the content wouldn't stick. If you need to actually see things to understand and learn them, this is the book. Best part, it's all in one book. I've followed Jon Haws for a long time now and I was hoping for this, ALL OF HIS FREE DOWNLOAD CHEAT SHEETS he sends you by email when you sign up on NRSNG, PLUS ALL THE CONTENT, AND TEST STRATEGIES ALL IN ONE BOOK! I got the email about the new book and didn't think it twice! It's a very neat book, you can actually tell by looking and feeling the pages, they're all thick-glossy type paper. It it so organized, I just love it!! 😍 I haven't taken my NCLEX yet but I'm pretty sure this is an excellent tool to study for my test. Keep up the good work Mr. Haws, Mr. Reaves and Ms. Wahrman! Excellent job! 👌

I have a nursing.com subscription and has been printing the material from their website as I go through the modules. It came to a point where it just got too time consuming to prepare the whole thing. And I was definitely using more paper than the actual book itself. I really didn’t want to spend more for my review. But Eventually I caved and got this. It definitely makes things easier. I got it on sale too, which is really why I was convinced to finally purchase it. As for the content, it is really comprehensive so it wouldn’t be as detailed as it would be if you were to get a separate book for each topic. It’s more like an outline and highlights which is perfect for reviewing. I really don’t need the fluff. There are typos and wrong grammar here and there but considering how useful this book is in general, I think it’s fine. I’m okay to overlook it. I’m basing my review on the material that they have online because I suppose the book is just a compilation of their web content. I will give an update after I actually use the book. In a nutshell, this is a good book to have if you’re subscribed to nursing.com If not, I’m not sure if this will be enough for nclex review. I suppose that will depend on what you know already. Well, tbh, I don’t think anything is enough for NCLEX until I pass it 😅

So I am a full-time nursing student, I work full time, and I also have a little one at home. Anytime I can find a resource to help me learn all the information I need to learn then I will invest the money. I have been following this company a while on social media and when they announced that they were releasing this book for purchase I was super excited. I purchased it right when it went on sale and I just got it today. It is beautiful, full color, easy to follow, and practice NCLEX questions. I have to say this may be my new favorite resource for information, I can't wait to start using this for school. Thank you to Nursing.com for making this great resource.

It took awhile with the pandemic situation but I finally got it today! I love it! I've gone through the first chapters and I appreciate how the explanations were straight to the point and clear. The diagrams makes it easier to visualize the entire concept. The pages are of good quality. I'm not sure how it will go with a highlighter. Based on the page quality, it might just stick to the other pages or leave a mark on the opposite page when I close the book. But so far so good. It's great!

an absolute godsend for NCLEX prep. i have been looking for a succinct content book to supplement my UWorld subscription and stumbled upon this one. i am confident in my knowledge and wanted something to help remind me of larger concepts. the content is reduced to only the important tidbits for each concept, which is important as your test date approaches. the pages themselves are glossy and colorful, making them pleasant to read. i recommended this book to my entire nursing cohort! thank you!!
