Pricey but worth it
I’ve now tried 3 different non-toxic toothpastes and this one by far is my favorite. Pricey. Yes. But I feel it is well worth it compared to the junk-big-box brands out there that have SLS, lead, arsenic, mercury, etc. Why so expensive? Because it uses Nano-Hydroxyapatite which is a non fluoride ingredient which “mimics natural tooth enamel to remineralize teeth” Do your own research and try it. I brush my teeth like most people twice a day. Toothpaste inside your mouth twice a day can add up to a lot of unnecessary chemicals. Stop buying cheap, crappy, chemical filled toothpastes. Pros - BOKA has a good texture, not runny like some brands - foams up well, - not too gritty yet it’s also NOT A gel formula. - teeth feel clean - comes in different flavors Cons - Pricey!

Five stars for BOKA without hesitation.
I have tried a lot of natural toothpastes over the years and I can honestly say that Boka completely surprised me in the best possible way. From the very first use it felt like I had finally found a toothpaste that balances modern science with a clean ingredient philosophy. You will not be disappointed. The standout ingredient here is nano hydroxyapatite, which is the same mineral that naturally makes up tooth enamel. That immediately caught my attention because instead of simply masking dental issues it actually supports remineralization. After learning more about nano hydroxyapatite and how it interacts with enamel I felt confident giving this toothpaste a real trial. The texture is smooth and creamy and it spreads easily across the teeth. Some fluoride free toothpastes can feel chalky or thin but this one feels refined and well formulated. It produces a gentle foam that feels pleasant while brushing but never overwhelming. The flavor is another area where this toothpaste shines. It is refreshing without being harsh or overly minty. My mouth feels clean and balanced after brushing rather than blasted with artificial intensity. That subtle freshness actually lasts much longer than I expected. After about two weeks of consistent use I started noticing that my teeth felt smoother throughout the day. That polished feeling you normally get right after a dental cleaning lasted longer than usual. My teeth also appeared brighter which was a welcome bonus. Another thing I appreciate is the ingredient transparency. There are no questionable additives and it is completely fluoride free which is important for people who prefer alternatives that still support enamel health. Knowing that nano hydroxyapatite is widely used in advanced dental care products in other parts of the world made this even more compelling. The packaging is clean and modern and the tube dispenses easily without making a mess on the cap. It feels like a premium product from start to finish. What really impressed me is how well this toothpaste balances effectiveness, comfort, and thoughtful formulation. It manages to feel gentle while still leaving my teeth incredibly clean and refreshed. If you are looking for a high quality fluoride free toothpaste that focuses on enamel support and a healthier approach to oral care then I highly recommend giving this one a try. It has absolutely earned a permanent place in my daily routine and it is one of the few natural toothpastes I genuinely look forward to using every day.

Love boka, but not this flavor
First of all, let me start with the most important thing- if you’re considering switching to a nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste, you’ve already waited too long IMO. I have had extremely sensitive teeth since childhood (think having to curl your lips over your front teeth when you drink a glass of room temp water) and have used a sensitivity, toothpaste, almost as long, with minimal help I found this toothpaste a few years ago when n-Ha was just becoming a thing over here in the US and within a month or two my sensitivity was probably 70% improved, and while I still have a small amount of sensitivity, I’d say at this point it is probably 80 to 90% better- I almost never even notice it anymore. I never had any issues with cavities or anything like that, but I fully believe that it is re-mineralizing and would help someone who is prone to cavities and other things. The added bonus is that while I use whitening strips every now and then, it’s been over a year since the last time I whitened my teeth, and my friends still comment about how white my teeth look, despite being a daily coffee drinker for the last seven years. I’ve tried multiple flavors of Boka and my only qualm is that my favorite flavor so far was only seasonal and is no longer available, which was the cherry blossom (if anyone from the Boca company is reading this, this is an official request for you to please bring that flavor back and keep it!) so I’ll describe the other flavors in more detail: Ela Mint: this was the companies first flavor they came out with as far as I’m aware, and I initially liked it a lot when switching from a regular toothpaste as I still wanted to have that minty fresh taste in my mouth, but this is way more mild than normal toothpaste. It’s just a gentle hint of mint. Very nice if you’re just switching over from a mint toothpaste and are also worried about your mouth not feeling fresh enough. Lemon lavender: I no longer care for a mint flavor and I really like this. It is not tart in any way and tastes more like a lemon custard or lemon yogurt, pretty sweet as well. I don’t really get any notes of lavender when I use it and though lavender should be used sparingly so it doesn’t taste soapy, I would appreciate just a little bit more of the lavender flavor to actually call it lemon lavender. Right now it’s more like the Yoplait lemon yogurt Strawberry basil: I just got this flavor today and I almost considered knocking my review down one Star because of it. When I first put the toothbrush in my mouth, I just got a strong taste of basil and hardly any strawberry. The strawberry came out a little more as I continued to brush, but the basil is just overpowering, and I am not a fan in any way. I ordered the strawberry mango kids toothpaste for my child and I am looking forward to that one when it comes in, glad I ordered a three pack as I think that will be more promising since I like both strawberry and mango flavors on their own, and I may steal one of those tubes for myself Overall: there are so many flavors to try out so you’ll probably find one you like and regardless, this is just short of a miracle product for your teeth. I can’t recommend this toothpaste enough. (But please I do hope the flavors either get tweaked or they bring back the cherry blossom soon!)

Pretty good
I took one star off for the taste, but other than that, this is pretty good as far as user experience goes. The instructions are clear and I like how the paste cleans. There's no weird aftertaste. Personally I don't like this taste though, I prefer yuzu whatever it's called. It's not exactly stated how much nano hydroxyapatite there is in this, Ive heard anywhere from 2-5%. The research seems to say 10% nHa rod shaped particles do the best at cleaning or repairing teeth. Though it may still be that less than 10% is still effective in some capacity. Research on nHa is still in early stages, but you can't really find 10% nHa pastes unless you go to ollie. I haven't heard enough about ollie to be able to trust or not trust it. Dr Jens 10% nHa toothpaste is currently the most trusted among professionals, but it is very expensive.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Boka deserves it. After years of trying mainstream toothpaste brands, I finally decided to try something better—and I’m blown away. Within just a few days, my teeth felt noticeably smoother, my sensitivity dropped almost completely, and my whole mouth just felt healthier. The biggest game-changer is the hydroxyapatite—it actually helps rebuild your enamel instead of just masking issues. I recently went through a Zoom whitening session, and Boka was the only toothpaste that brought relief. I let it sit in my mouth for 5 minutes before spitting, and the results were incredible. Zero pain after that. No fluoride, no junk ingredients, and it doesn’t burn like some chemical-heavy pastes. The taste is fresh but mild. Honestly, this isn’t just toothpaste—it’s oral health care on another level. If you care about your teeth long-term, switch to Boka. You’ll never go back.
