Quality Item
These grips are quite good. I was skeptical, paying $40 for them, but I needed to try them out, as fat bars are not available(nor shall they, I'm sure) at my local gym. I am 100% sold on them. First day, I could barely lift a weight, while trying to adjust. After almost a month of using them now, I'm loving it. Grip strength is up, forearm size is increasing and my ability to lift the weights I was at before using them has been hit for everything but deadlifts and shrugs so far, they will take quite some time, assuming I ever get there(don't really like the way they feel with the grips). Very good item, highly recommended. Thanks for the free shipping too!

It does add an extra level of fatigue to the workout so that's excellent. However
These work MOSTLY as advertised. I have small hands (women's medium glove size.... ) but my hands fit just slightly more than all the way around. It does add an extra level of fatigue to the workout so that's excellent. However, the 1 star off is because unless your grip is MONSTROUS, if you use this with a very wide grip on a barbell they are prone to slipping. I guess it could be argued my grip isn't strong enough.... but maybe it would be good to make the inner lining have more friction. Oh also, there should be a version ideally with greater resistance and thinner material.... I know, it's asking a lot from a small market item. But I can easily close this with modest effort but because a) my hands are small and b) some of my gym's dumbbells have thick handles, the grip does not really require much closure effort since it is impeded by the dumbbell. A thinner stiffer material would require me to exert more effort

Great training aid
Not every gym has "fat bars," which make it possible to get strong forearms and also avoid shoulder injuries. These Grip4orce are perfect. You can use them when performing chin-ups, dips, and biceps curls. They have made my grip stronger and also saved my joints a lot of wear-and-tear. They are a must-have item for the serious gym rat.

not worth it
If you would like to work your grip its better to get more of those grip things that you squeeze which is more effective. you won't be able to target your muscles effectively because your grip will get tired before your muscles do. not convenient to use when doing heavy movement like bench press, shoulder press, and dead-lift

Go with the Fat Gripz Extremes, I was a little disappointed.
They are okay. For most of the gym bars they fit a little large. The only benefit I noticed is when I was doing deadlifts for reps did I feel a pump in my hands and forearms. I have a little over 7 inch hands, a little above average thickness of the palms. I started with fat gripz the original (blue ones) they worked well. It wasn't until I started the Extremes did i see and feel a notice in my wrist strength and size. I then bought the Grip4orce about 6 months later. I really didn't feel any improvement. I used them for pretty much everything. I didn't care how they didn't fit over the dumbbells (even at 3 different) gyms. Its not terrible but I just didn't feel a benefit to using these unless you have never used any grip trainers. Like I said I had trained with fat gripz first and really showed more improvement with them. I prefer the Fat Gripz Extremes.

Great grips!
Great grips!!!! I think u should buy them if your on the fence about them because u have to keep your hand closed tight the whole time u use them or u will drop what u are working out with!!! My grip has improved a good bit in 2 months of use!!!

Bought as gift and have had no complaints!
The price was a bit lower compared to other sources I saw this product. The person who I purchased these for as a gift says they are a great addition to their workouts.

good way to increase functional strength
Have used these, along with 2 other versions; fat grips, and another brand who's name I've had so long I can't recall it, which is unfortunate, as it's the best of the 3 (it's a softer rubber, black, and anatomically contoured, narrower on the thumb side than little finger side...anybody out there know the name?) Anyway, theses are a little different, as one ust grip them harder to keep them in place. Also, they are a bit wider when closed, so they don't fit well in certain settings...like a wrist roller. Over all, recommend and would buy again, tho they are my third choice, behind fat grip, and the brand name I can't recall....
