Plasma Series Ray Stantz Toy 6-Inch-Scale Collectible Classic 1984 Ghostbusters Action Figure, Toys for Kids Ages 4 and Up

I am giving 5 stars for the figure alone. Where Mattie Collector got it wrong, Hasbro got it right. This figure actually looks like Dan Aykroyd as he appeared in the first movie. The articulation is really good and the paint job on this particular character is without issue. Having said that, I am unsure why I cannot fasten the proton pack around Ray’s torso. Even if I were to force the strap as far as it can go, it wouldn’t come close to being able to fasten. I’d heard that some people had straps that broke straight out of the box, but mine isn’t even long enough to connect. I wonder if this is a defect or if they’re all like that. It would’ve been nice if he had come with a proton beam, but I won’t deduct points for that because he’s quite a nice figure.

As a ghostbuster fan, you can't go wrong with the plasma series. They're accurate in detail and have held up nicely to the test of time with a young boy playing with the toy. He's just as big a fan as I am for ghostbusters, and with the new release of the movie, it's simply a must have for any child to play with! Super awesome!

My son loves ghost busters, he will be excited to open this on Christmas morning ❤️

Got it for a friend who collects movies and old shows action figures and it went great for his collection.

I really love the designs of these Ghostbusters action figures, this one really does look like Dan Aykroyd. It is nice to add these figures to my collection at home. And as I said before I am a huge fan of the Ghostbusters franchise. I can still remember seeing the first one in a movie theater, which is closed here in Tampa Florida.

Para empezar, ya tenia las figuras de Mattel de 2016 a excepcion de Winston. Y aunque esas me gustan mucho, la figura Mattel de Ray la verdad dejo mucho que desear... asi que compre esta version de Ray y la de Winston. En particular, me gusta mucho mas esta figura que la version de Mattel. Para empezar, no tiene la cara aplastada, esta mas gordito y trae la cosa esa que se pone en la cabeza. La verdad se parece mucho mas esta figura a Dan Aykroyd que la otra. Asi que ya tengo a todos los Ghostbusters. Dos de Mattel Egon y Peter y 2 de Hasbro, Winston y Ray.

Hasbro is really killing it with the digital paint likenesses in the 1/12 scale figure department. Great articulation and the closest you’ll get to photo likeness of the character barring any Hot Toys-esque releases of them. Shipping was fast as per prime usual. Not really sure I get what’s going on with distribution of these figures as they only had two of them up for pre-order in this wave and the others were impossible to find and now only availble via third party sellers. Oh well. Track them down and you’ll be happy you did!

I bought this figurine to go with the Lego Ecto-1 I built. Looks great, and looks just the right size. The Ray Stantz is very well made. Word of caution. As I put on the proton back pack it was a tight fit, but I carefully got it on without damaging it. I was surprised how well the figurine can stand upright.
