California Costumes Women's Voodoo Dolly Costume

Got this for work and got tons of compliments. The fabric is somewhat stretched. There’s itchy fabric they add under the sleeves but you always can cut it off. True to size. For reference I’m 5.5 128lbs, got M. A little loose on the tummy but it’s just alright cause it’s adjustable in the back.

This costume was so fun and I even won an award at a Halloween event! I added a black tutu under the skirt to make it pouf out. Without the tutu, the skirt lays flat. The chest area is a little big but I used clear thread to sew it down once I had it on. Highly recommend.

I ordered an XS based on the measurements. While the length and waist fit as expected, which is why I rated it as such, the top felt a bit odd. It felt sort of loose. I don't know, maybe it was made for a longer torso or a wider chest! A minor adjustment could easily fix it, so it wasn't bad. The skirt does have a little bit of black tulle-like material under the front-side hip overlays, but that's all (which I'm perfectly okay with) so don't expect it to be as puffy as in the picture. The model may be wearing a petticoat. The sleeves also have the tulle-like material to puff them; but take note if you are sensitive because it feels scratchy at the shoulders and waist due to that tulle. I wore nude-colored undershorts to feel more comfortable. Overall, I liked the costume and received compliments.

Really great costume. I loved the added accessories - really made the costume! I bought a red tutu/underskirt due to advice from other reviews and that definitely adds so much to the costume. Would certainly recommend doing that. When I did my makeup and hair I looked so freaky for Halloween. Random people thought I looked so good/scary and told me or asked for photos! The only thing was I had to pin the sleeves a little at the crease of my underarms. If I didn't they kind of sat off my shoulders too much and showed my bra straps. I bought a size Medium because I'm slim but tall so this was okay - if I had more time I would have sewn it. It didn't bother me and was an easy fix.

First of all, it's really cute fr. I'm 5'7 193lbs and ordered a x large. The fit is good, but the bust is a little too big if you don't have a big chest, and the sleeves are a bit scratchy. There's also this netting thing underneath that really serves no purpose so I cut it out. I bought the red tutu to just make it a little cuter. Definitely cheap material but it's only for Halloween and maybe a few photoshoots. Overall it's a nice costume. Can't wait to do my hair and paint my face, will try to update 🙃 Update- I tried to wear this for a costume party. But I was having to pull chest part up so much that I ended up taking it off. It was to good to try on but to actually wear this thing you need to have a large chest. Returning. :/

The costume was adorable! The material in the puffy sleeves was scratchy, so I stuffed it with some fabric. Also, the bust area was large and flaired open. (2 safety pins solved the problem) I ordered a tutu for extra volume in the skirt. Over all, this costume was great for the cost! I got so many comments at the Voodoo music festival!

I’m not sure why all the other people that ordered got great products and I didn’t, but the costume I received was a cheaply made dress with a printed on design. It did not look at all like the picture on the package and I was missing the pantyhose that was supposed to come with it. For $50, this item had none of the quality it was supposed to have. Not worth the money at all. I will be returning and looking for something else!!!

I bought this for my daughter. She loves it. I do agree with other reviews, there are pieces of mesh inside the sleeves....Really pointless..really dumb. I plan on cutting them off so it won't irritate her. It does need a petticoat to give it a puff look but over all I would recommend. Value? I don't think any costume is worth over $20 but that is because Im just cheap...stingy even.

I’m a med/large and I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly I’m very impressed with the quality of the fabric

Zugegen, als ich Nachricht von meiner Empfangsstelle bekam, dass die Sendung gerade mal 360 gr wiegt, wurde ich skeptisch. Tatsächlich entpuppte sich das Kostüm als superleicht. Das macht das Tragen sehr bequem. Bei meinen Körpermaßen (1,95 cm, männlich, schlank) entschied ich mich wieder für XL, da diese Größe für Frauen mir auch bei anderen Kostümen dieses Herstellers passten. Auch hier wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Sitzt praktisch wie eine zweite Haut und wird seinen Zweck beim kommenden Halloween erfüllen.
