Clore Automotive Booster PAC ES2500 1100 Peak Amp 12V Jump Starter, 900 Amps

I had had experience with this particular brand/model and I can attest to the quality and reliability of the ES2500. Also, having worked for a nationally known auto parts store that sells this model, I have sold many, and never had a complaint, or unhappy customer. I have not had the need to use this one I purchased but I have no doubt it will serve me well. I purchased it from Amazon rather than my former place of employment simply due to the price. I saved $20 and I would say to anyone considering one that it is well worth the money. This unit has plenty of power to jump any battery very quickly and it's very easy to use.

I've had this 3 years and have started many cars (mine and other folks). A few weeks ago my car battery started dying and I used this to jump it 3 times. I keep it in the car and the car gets very hot and very cold but it always works. Sure I know it's best to keep it indoors and It'll have more starting power available BUT that's not as handy as keeping it in a Styrofoam cooler which kind of helps a bit with the daily temp swings in the car. Bottom line is, this works and is still working 3 years later. It has Never failed to work. It still charges to full and I know if my car sits out in the cold without starting for a couple of weeks (airport travel) this will save me. Very good product! UPDATE: It's been almost '4 years' since I purchased this and have use it about 12 times and it's still going strong. I keep it in the car trunk but the temperature doesn't seem to bother it and it still charges to 100% I check the charge about every 6 Months if I haven't used it. Good insurance. Great product!

I purchased one of these boosters 25 years ago to ensure I could always start my F150. It never let me down. I loved being able to help stranded drivers, too. I told the manufacturer how long it lasted and that I wanted to buy a replacement. He was shocked. He told me they are only designed to last 2 to 5 years. What did I do? I told him I always fully recharged it after use. I never left it plugged in for long periods of time. I never fully drained it. Will this one last as long? Who knows. It was great while it lasted, so I'm happy to buy another one.

This power pac is a no nonsense work horse that does the job over and over. This is my second purchase of the 2500 and I found out my original power pac was still operational when I plugged it in the new charger that came with the replacement pac I purchased. I ordered a new charger for it and gifted it to my neighbor. It was twelve years old. With no extras like a flashlight or cheap compressor this no nonsense toll is built to last and it does just what it is designed to do, start cars and trucks. I have also used this as an emergency 12 volt power source for my RV and excessories. Great product. Great price.

Solid power for small engines (900A), compact & portable. Works well in emergencies, but struggles with large diesel trucks. Battery holds charge decently.

Powerful jumps, compact, but needs frequent recharging

This item was not as stated. I followed the process of having this charged but after 12 months it doesn’t hold a charge. What good is it to me if it doesn’t stay charged. The light goes to green then when I unplug it, it goes to yellow. Item is not for emergency. If it were. It would be no good. I would not recommend. Waste of money.
